Q:Is it better to have a wireless internet connection or a wired connection for my ps3 online games?
Wired always provides more consistent performance, regardless if you're playing on the PSN or surfing the web.
Q:what size wiring should i use to wire a plug in for a dryer?
You will need 4 wires to meet current electrical codes..2 black or red wires. (ungrounded conductors). 1 white wire. (neutral or grounded conductor). 1 green insulated or bare copper wire. (equipment ground). Both ungrounded conductors on a 2-pole, 30 amp breaker or fuse. A 30 amp, 250 volt rated receptacle is also required..The dryer will work with 3 wires, but is not up to code, because of bonding/grounding issues
Q:do i need a different wire for in-wall speakers or a regular speaker wire
You will best be served by wire that is properly shielded. There is specific wire designed to be installed in-wall, and that is what I would suggest for you to use for that application. . .
Q:I wanna know how does the temperature affect the resistance of the wire.
Cold wire is a better conductor of electricity than hot wire. Atoms are closer together when cold, making it easier for electrons to jump from atom to atom.
Q:Wiring together 200 + different colored LEDs. Voltage per LED ranges from 2.5 - 3.6. What is the best way to go about wiring them together and what type of power source should i use?
sequence isn't plausible through voltage drop throughout each and each and every LED. Parallel ought to require a dropping resistor for each LED because the slightest mismatch from one gadget will reason it to behaviour in yet otherwise for the others that's aggravated because the temperature contained in the junction rises. One answer is to force them from a present day source, yet you'll nonetheless desire some type of resistance for each LED, because the only with the the least present day turn on knee will hog the present from the others. there's no unmarried resistor soulution that ought to paintings.
Q:I have just bought a Clarion CZ500 and am trying to run a remote wire to the amp. Where do i connect the wire to the head unit? Please Help
On the 16-pin connector coming from the rear of the head unit, there's a blue/white wire terminated with an insulated female slide connector. You can crimp a male connector to your amp remote wire or simply cut the connector off and splice the wires together. The wiring diagram is on page 31 of your manual.
Q:I need help hooking a remote wire to my jvc kd-g220.
OK I see we have all backyard car audio installers answering car audio question ....there all wrong . Although there methods may work but they are not right an some could cause melted wires an possibly fire. So to do it correctly if you have an aftermarket head unit your remote wire is always always blue/w white strip, never use solid blue avenue though solid blue wire is a positive turn on wire its used for your FM antenna turn on for your radio never use it for remote turn on. If you have factory radio it does not have a remote wire nor does it have a positive turn on (acc) wire on back of radio. Some Chevy's do but most don't so you would have to hook your amp remote wire to your ignition wire which is either a thin brown wire or thin dark green wire which you can get at the ignition switch just look under the dash to ignition switch an follow the wires down to where its easier to work with an tap on. I recommend you use a test light or multi meter to make sure you have the right wire. You might have to drop down the belly pan under the dash to get to it . ever tap onto an existing fuse in your fuse panel. It would work but not good idea since you have different gauge wires in there with different amp fuses , all your fuses have numbers on them for a reason meaning the fuse is protecting a certain amount of current from the electrical componants in your car so if you add another componant to that fuse that means more current an now your fuse can't protect the componant like its attended to do an keep blowing your fuse an could cause melting wires or even a fire. I strongly urge you not to use the tap in to fuse panel method,.
Q:why do we use copper wires as connecting wires
To use something as a connecting wire it should possess some qualities. First it should be a good conductor of electricity, that is it should have free electrons in its configuration. Secondly the substance should be malleable, that is it should be versatile enough to be stretched into wires. And lastly it should be available in abundance and should be economically feasible. As copper satisfies all the above prerequisites it is often used to make conducting wires.
Q:I recently re-wired my house with 4 wire telephone wire. They all meet in the attic. How do I wire them together and is there some kind of junction plate I can use? Additionally, I did also wire my house with Cat6 wire, but would like to keep it strictly for Internet.
(links just for reference, from search engine results)
Q:could someone teach or explain to me how to hook up the 1st one, i do not understand what is happening there. How do you connect thoes wires to the main wire??? the distribution?
Ok, first thing you want to do is, for each subwoofer, wire a negative and positive together. You can use regular speaker wire to do that (well you're supposed to anyway). After that, you will have a negative and positive terminal left on each subwoofer. What you need to do is run a speaker wire from each of the terminals, so you have 6 different wires from 6 separate terminals. Make note of the 3 positive wires and the 3 negative wires. Now what you do is simply twist together the 3 positive wires together, so you have 1 positive wire. Connect that positive wire to the positive terminal of the amp (if it's a 1 channel amp. If it's a 2 channel, connect it to a bridged channel on the positive terminal. Or however you want.) Do the same for the 3 negative wires. Twist them together to have 1 negative wire, and connect it to the negative terminal on the amp. Finished! That kind of wiring is called Series wiring, by the way. The other kind is called Parallel wiring.
