Q:If I put silicon on a copper wire and put it out in the sun will it produce electricity?How exactly does it work and what common materials do I need to make one from scratch?(A permanent one, not one that uses salt water and a burnt copper panel)
I don't think the silicon-copper thing will work. Silicon in solar panels is doped with another material. Besides, silicon (the element) is hard to get ahold of in any quantity. Solar power, of course, means a lot of things, including electricity. For example, solar heating is one form of solar power. If you are trying to just piddle around with the ideas, you might try creating a device that would heat up during the day, causing water to expand and flow across a turbine, and connect the turbine to a small generator. You would be using the solar-heated water to create electricity. If you can actually cause the water to boil a steam turbine would be the result. For direct electrical production, try typing silicon solar disc doping into your browser, and look at some of the websites. Good luck.
Q:According to the selection and classification of PCB substrate materials, what kind of copper clad laminates are common in China at present?
According to the thickness of CCL, it is divided into thick plate (plate thickness range of 0.8 ~ 3.2mm (including Cu)), sheet (plate thickness range less than 0.78mm (excluding Cu))
Q:A.CADMIUM gt;gt;gt;gt; MAKING RECHARGEABLE CELLSB.COPPER gt;gt;gt;gt;gt; MAKING FUSE IN ELECTRIC PLUGSC.CHROMIUMgt;gt;gt;gt;MAKING DURALUMIND.ZINCgt;gt;gt;gt;gt;gt;gt;gt;gt;MAKIG CANS FOR CANNED FOODEXPLAIN THE REASON
The correct combination is A.CADMIUM MAKING RECHARGEABLE CELLS, Cadmium is most predominantly used in making rechargable nickel-cadmium batteries. These rechargable cells are abbreviated NiCd. They have a cell potential of 1.2 V, and are mostly used for portable electronics, toys, renote controls, wireless phones, emergency lights, etc. The other options are not correct. Copper isn't used for making fuses. Duralumin is composed of Cu, Mg, and Mn, and hence, chromium isn't a component of duralumin. Zinc itself is not used. for making cans. Zinc is just used for galvanizing iron sheets which are used for making cans for canned foods.
Q:Classification of copper clad laminate
According to the insulation material of the copper clad plate, the structure is divided into organic resin type copper clad plate, metal base copper clad plate and ceramic base copper clad laminate;
Q:anyone know who invented batteries and where it was created and how it was created? im curious cause my remote ran outta batteries.
Check the manufactures spec. It should be located on the inside of the gas cap door or on one of the door sills.
Q:I‘m doing a report, and cannot find much of anything online or in the library. If you know any good websites or books or articles that I can use, it would be much appreciated, especially if there are pictures. I just need to know some early uses of metal roofing.
For the best answers, search on this site shorturl.im/axIzp Call your local building supply store. Metal roofing in my area is going for $2.39 a foot. So a sheet that is 3' wide 14' long is $33.46. If the front of your house is 60'long,and 14' from the eve to the peak, then it's $670 for that esction
Q:What is the current price of copper per ounce? If I had a sheet of copper that was 6 x 6, how much is that?
Roughly twenty cents. Copper is priced by the pound.
Q:How we can store the solar energy in to a non traditional way ?
Whats wrong with the traditional ways? Like heating black water barrels or concrete for times when it is dark? Or do you mean electricity? There was a power plant in Arkansas in the late '80's that was compressing air in a huge underground chamber during the day to power a turbine during dark hours.
Q:What did they have in those time periods (or any other) that would be considered unbelievable or extremely ingenious?
The Egytians were able to accurate calculate the angles on the Great Pyramid. The Romans had a from of concrete that got stronger in water-modern engineers are still trying to figure it out. The Greeks worked out harmonics in music, developed logic and geometry and democracy! Alexander the Great promoted religious tolerance and acceptance of other culures within his empire, an innovation at the time.
