Q: 2005 Volvo s80 T6 Premier I Just got Subwoofers hooked up into my car and they had to undo the battery and what not for the wiring and now my car gives me a message saying SRS Airbag Service Urgent the guys told me it was because they had unplugged the battery and it should go away if I drive about 30miles, I‘ve driven over 100 and it‘s still there and the Volvo Dealer wants 110.00 to fix the light. Is there any other way possible to get this light cleared and since that light is on does that mean if I get into a crash the airbags will not deploy?: air bag repair is a specialty in order to do safely and properly as there is a small explosive devise that employs the air bag. So you will need a trained person to do this. Fixing the light is not the issue, but why it has illuminated in the first place. Maybe the first step is to have the code read and go from there.

The auto-adjust option on the LCD monitor will load some pre-configured setting put into the system in the factory. These are set believing you have good eyesight, good lighting in the room and are not colorblind. It also sets the monitor up to run at the fastest recommended refresh rate. You should set the brightness/contrast to what feels comfortable to you without having the monitor lit up too high. The only thing that damages a monitor very fast is 'over-driving' brightness controls. So the lower the brightness the better for both of you. Just bring up the brightness until you are comfortable and adjust the color/contrast settings to get the best match to a picture you have both in the computer and printed on hand. Try to adjust the monitor controls until the picture tones get very close to each other. Very few monitors can do this without being 'over-driven' so be careful to set any control to full or null applications.

Q: how do you make the x-mas lights go off and on?: If your writing about a true Xmas tree lighting system , yea sure just get a red tip bulb, but if your talking about lights on your instrument panel to your car, that go off and on. Well lets say your check engine is on. Then get a paper clip and put one end in the 7 and the other into the 11 . Most autos are set up the same. leep trying different combos to clear

Q: I just bought a 01 Volvo s60 and i got check engine light on it after one month it says emission system service required and when I went to the auto zone they told me that I need to change the fuel cap and I ordered an original one online and I released the check engine light but I got it again after a week; I use unleaded fuel instead of the required premium fuel, is that can be the reason for this check engine light?: you still could have a fault in the emission system/fuel tank leakage detection for fuel vapors. my guess is a cracked hose going from the charcoal filter to the control valve near it. the hose looks like a big J. the crack can be near the J portion, sometimes on the top, where you need a small mirror to find it, close to the clamp on the charcoal canister. it's a bother the replace the hose, but these things can happen.

Q: My battery light turned on few days ago. I changed the battery since it was old, but the light is still on.is it the alternator? or what?: Its a possibility for sure. Most auto parts stores will check the charging system the battery and the starter for free. Just as them to check with the machine inside the store. It sounds like you were aware of the older batterybutt if the light is still on it may have some other problem too. Possibly a bad voltage regulator which is in the alternator or it could be a slipping or worn belt too.

Q: now why do you suppose car manufacturers such as toyota,nissan basically all auto manufacturers integrate such system.i mean come on its DAYTIME it not like its dark or anything.and the fact that it also draining the life of your battery its just my opinion i think its useless: drl just meant to help you see oncoming cars better. they actually do not drain the battery since they are only on while the car is running, in this time your alternator is charging. but still your right serve very little purpose
