Q:There are Off and Auto buttons on the rear view mirror, to control dimming. Every time the car is started it is programmed to default to Auto, and until recently it worked fine, dimming automatically only when there were glaring lights behind me. Now, when the car is started the mirror dims on its own, regardless of the lights behind me, during both the day time and night time. The mirror dims to a point where it is difficult to use, particularly at night. The problem is fixed by pushing the Off button, but because it still defaults to Auto, I need to push the Off button every time I start the car.

Q:the light comes on and blinks only in those cases went to auto zone got it check with their systems and everything was fine from their systems say. good batterie, starter, and alternator but from what i goggled and saw was that it might be the alternator going bad or wire is loose on it. not sure please help and the car is a honda 92 accord wih about 10 k miles

Check the battery post connections make sure their not loose or rusted/corrode, check the alternator belt it maybe loose, otherwise have the charging system tested. Hope that helps and best of luck.By the way many shops and part stores will test the battery and alternator for free.

You can forget it. While Kodak, Benq, Vivitar and GE are truly bad, just about anything in that price-range is barely adequate for video in daylight - their small sensors just can't cope with anything lower.

That's gonna cost you $$$ The modern ignition system was design to be smart and you should have the code scanned and READ the code to find the reason behind the Check Engine Light. Go to autozone (or any of the many Auto parts store with this service) and have the code scanned. Then come back with more question WITH THE CODE. Good luck.

On a 2003 Ren. I had same problem indicated. OBD said front left. Changed hub, still there. Mechanic found left REAR disconnected. Either in-car wiring to ODB or ODB was wrong. My bet is in-car wiring as it was plagued with electrical faults since day one.

Q:The headlights now shut off and on, off and on. The car is running ok, but the remote starter will no longer work. The installer was at ABC warehouse in Mount Pleasant Michigan and they talked me into buying a better remote starter b/c the cheapest one would not allow my doors to unlock while the starter was running?
