- Carpeting okorder . Think about it for a second, when you put shampoo in your hair, do you not rinse it out. Many products on the market are a rip off, and this foaming spray is one of them. The carpet needs to be hot water rinsed and extracted to come clean, and no, this does not hurt the carpet.
- Q: whats the difference between the two? i've done latch hooking but im wondering if rug hooking is the same thing or close?
- 2 differences, first you don't get precut yarn with rug hooking, you use a skein or ball of yarn, starting from the back with your hook on the top, pull the yarn through, making a continuous line. 2nd the hook in rug hooking does not have the latch over the hooky part. I did quite a few latch hook projects and tons of fun. I just recently learned rug hooking while on vacation. At first it is a little harder, getting a even tension and so that the pile of yarn on the top is all even and not splitting the yarn. - I used to make my own hooked rugs...just cut a patch of canvas the approx. size of that damaged area and incorporate the patch into the rest of your wool pattern...you could thread some thread first so it will stay in place as you are hooking the rug...Since it's a random pattern it will not be noticed (only from underneath) Right?

- Provided you can get the same type of carpet, you can seem in a piece. Basically you need carpet seeming tape, new carpet, and a carpet seeming iron. You have to take a straight edge or a square and cut off the bad section. Cut to match new section with straight edge or square. Warm up seaming iron match the run of the new carpet with The run of the old otherwise it will look really bad. Lay seam tape half and half between old and new carpet. .. better yet it would be esier for you to look up how to seam carpet on youtube. Good luck

- I love it! You have great taste. I'd go will some soft silk drapes that gently flow and maybe puddle on the floor in a cream, gray or tan, with a contrasting colored tassel to hold them back. If you want a printed drape, I'd still go silk and stick with a contemporary pattern. Rug options are limitless. When shopping for a rug, try to pull out a color in your other items. I find it is striking to have that be a small almost unnoticeable color in the rug, but it will pop because it is in another item. For example a printed rug that is predominantly brown, but has little hints of purple in it. Alone you might not notice the purple in the rug, but the pillows make it pop out. I'd go with abstract art given the contemporary nature of the couch... maybe a canvas giclee.

- As Chris said, Natures Miricle is awesome at getting out pet stains and odors. I also have a Bissell cleaner find that using a cleaner with oxi-clean in it is the best. I usually use regular bissell cleaner add a scoopful of powdered oxi-clean to every tank of water. Works great doesn't change the rug color. Spot Shot is another great product to pretreat before using your machine.
- Q: I have carpet with dog urine stains and the like. When I use cleaners my carpet is either stained darker or not affected. The even bigger problem is that my carpet is white. If you know how to remove stains from white carpet or have any tips on how to eliminate the odor, they'd be greatly appreciated.
