Q:Its on power and one is in a pc monitor and one is lying on the ground. Will the electricity go through the cable that is not connected and lying on the ground? is this safe to touch with hands or shoes?
The voltages and amperages going through the Monitor Cables are too low to be of any concern. If you actually stuck your tongue into a live one you'll get a jolt that may be painful...but it's not going to kill you. Touching it with your fingers won't do anything. However it might not be a bad idea to cover it with a little electrician's tape (don't go crazy) to keep it from picking up anything that could jam or bend the pins.
Q:I came out The Netherlands but i moved to Barbados somewhere near South-America in the caribbean. so i just plugged my power cable in the socker and first my xbox didnt work so i conected it to a voltage adaptor so my xbox voltage would go down so when i turned it on i was happy because it finally was on but like after ten seconds the little light on my power cable turned red ! does anyone maybe know how to fix this cause i want to play my xbox realy bad lolThanks alot,Greetings Noah.
A part of the cable isn't plugged in properly.
Q:I used my laptop as a home computer, most of the time I keep my laptop turned on with the power cable plugged in. Is it good to do that? or is it better to plug the power off whenever the laptop's battery is full? Which one is good for my laptop' maintenance? By the way, everytime I asked this question, people give different answers. So I really need a professional opinion.
Ok, straight to the point, keep it plugged. Besides losing the power over the time you have it unplugged, most laptops are equipped with a power saving feature that reduces it's power consumption. This means that the PC will have to use less for processing which in turn reduces your PC's speed. To check this out, try booting your Laptop with plug on. When you see the desktop, look for the my computer icon on the desktop or on the start menu. Right-click on it and select properties. Look for some number preceding Ghz and remember it. now, unplug the power cord from the laptop and restart the PC. do the same thing when you see the desktop after the restart. notice that the number you had the last time decreased. (if it did not decrease, then it means your laptop still operates at the same speed when unplugged and will be fine when unplugged) besides the speed reduction when unplugged, the screen will be dimmer when unplugged. also, when the batteries are full, they are not charging when the plug is still on the laptop. the laptop will use AC power when it knows that the batteries are full and it's plugged in.
Q:The power supply I have has 8 Peripheral cables. I need just a few more than that. Is there a cable splitter I can get? Or what can I do? I have the power, just need the extra connectors.
yes,they okorder /
Q:how deep underground are electric cables put and gas pipes laid underground for houses and bungalows here in the united kingdom, the Supply would be coming from the street up the front garden, asking this as thinking of knocking in metal posts for garden fence,
i put three rocks and my mom put a peace or qucomeber
Q:I just bought it!
Why would the power cable make noise? It's just a cable.
Q:Well I guess the more general question is:Are quot;twin power cablescompatible with 12v accessories and motorcycle batteries to make a safe running circuit?
In principle, yes, but it also depends on the type of bulb (single or twin-fillament). But you better have someone do it for you if you're not familiar with this kind of circuitry. There is risk of shorts and fire, unless you are sure of what you're doing.
Q:I'm trying to run a cable and power outlet into a closet for a media space but im not sure how to add the outlets in there. The area where the closet is, is on a wall that has no outlets and behind the closet is a bathroom which has no outlets on that side of the wall either so theres nothing to tap into. please help.thank you.
This is for a media closet, so more than a couple things will be plugged in right? Consider pulling a new circuit back to the panel. You can also tap into an existing circuit by finding the last receptacle on that line and dropping a new cable down the wall into the box. Try not to load the circuit above 80% of it's rating, so 15=12A, 20=16A. I'm assuming you have an unfinished attic or basement as you already plan to run media cable.
Q:Hey y'all , so I got this LG X120 Netbook thing and although it works fine when power supply cable is connected, it won't play just by getting supply from its own battery..also i tried starting it up with the power cable on, and after a few moments I unplugged it, and the screen went black-I mean the netbook was turned off by itself..any help with that? thanks
lg has not got reports like these there might be sum internal fault in the hardware of the pc so u should try to exchange this or buy a lenovo 1
Q:If you look at a power line it is hanging down in the middle why is that
To much tension requires more expensive equipment on the end poles to handle the stress. So some slack is necessary. Temperature can effect how saggy the lines are. If the wires are hot, they will sag more. Generally heat from the wires usually depend on the amount of current flowing through it. During the summer, lines sag big time because not only it is hot outside but there is so much current flowing through them from everyone cranking up the air conditioners at their homes and offices.
