Q:1. whole battery pack of energy total 4400mAh or2. each cell of energy 4400mAh and with 6 cells of this kind in series to form the packThank you for your answer.
The first is correct. THe pack is indivisible and can only be used as a unit with those characteristics, ie capable of a constant 4.4 A output for 1 hour, half that ouput for double the time, 0.44 A for 10 hrs etc. These are nominal figures, so expect to get less, depending on the age of the pack in terms of charging cycles.
Q:I bought a shaver that came with two rechargeable battery packs (2 x AA 900mAh 1.2V)Both packs powered the shaver fully for awhile until the energy was drained. However, the adapter (AC: 200V~50Hz DC: 3V 500mA) it came with does not charge either battery pack. When I plug the adapter to the battery pack, the red light comes on, so I know contact is being made, but no matter how long I leave it there, either battery pack does not charge.I'm not electrically skilled, so I was hoping someone on here could help me out.
Check if you have followed properly the battery polarity connection to its terminal. The contact must be positive to positive and negative to negative. If it was not followed the charger's red light will still comes on,but the battery pack will not charge because there is a reverse polarity circuit protection inside the charger. This is to protect the battery in case it was inserted in reverse position (polarity). The power supply current will not charge the battery or goes to battery. It will be blocked by the diode protection that is connected in series, This diode allows current passing in one direction only (polarized forward) and does not in the opposite (reverse polarization).
Q:Hello:I am trying to jerry-rig a head lamp for my biking @ nightI am wanting to power a single fog light with a 6V/2.8AH battery packI know nothing about power/watts reallySo, my question is: how many watts of a bulb should I use to power the foglight for atleast 3-4 hours? Thanks for your help!
i think it extremely is an electro-hydraulic capacity steerage pump on that one, so it sounds very similar to the alternator isn't producing right. Assuming the force belt is there and not slipping, i might get your alternator output checked. could be a unfastened cord, could be a failing alternator.
Q:I need to know what voltage, amperage, and what guage wire I need. The battery that came with my gun was 8.4v and im not sure what the amperage was. Is there a standard amperage that most stock batteries are? My gun shot 400 FPS and I would like to have it shoot a little slower than that.
Must not do that, build battery bad. Buy battery good
Q:I think it's impossible! This is surely a stupid question, it just doesn't explain it anywhere. Are they stuck in there?
Just shake the battery pack up and down. The batteries should slide right out. They're designed to stay in the pack tightly so that they do not rattle and make annoying noises, and so when you take the battery pack off, they don't just fall on the floor. But with a simple shake, they should just come out.
Q:a 9.6volt 1100mah battery does not hurt it at all. also current amperage affects rof and power too right?
If you put a 10.8v battery in there, you will wreck every internal gear that there is to wreck, that is way too strong for a stock gun, especially a clone brand. Stick with the 8.4v, or whatever battery came with it, otherwise your friend has just lost a large investment
Q:I am using an ACER laptop in particular. So, is it safe to use the laptop when it is directly plugged in (battery pack removed)? I only do this while gaming and i think it preserves battery life if I do this.
I'm doing this right now with my Acer laptop! I think it's totally safe, it's better to keep your battery out so that it doesn't fry. If you keep the battery out but the charger in, this is still a source of power and is safe. I've kept my battery out since I've got it, cos I don't wanna ruin it, fry it or ruin the battery life or something. :)
Q:I want to convert my LED lantern to a rechargeable. I want to use (2) 7.2 battery pack in Parallel to increase my reserve capacity, But the voltage jump to 8 volt. Can I just add a resistor and which one. Please help. Thanks.
Feeding the output of the 7.2 volt batteries through three diodes connected in series and rated at one amp will reduce the voltage to 6.0.Each diode will produce a voltage drop of .4 volts.
Q:I know that NiMH batteries self-discharge over time, but mine are discharging in just a matter of hours. I am using them in a RC airplane. They are 9.6V 650mah AAA packs. I charge them up just as they should be and they put out full power when I test them in my plane. I go to the gym for a couple hours and stop by the flying field on the way home, but when I plug the battery in the motor on the airplane immediately goes to cut-off.An interesting note: If I hold the arming button down to keep the motor going, eventually it will work itself up to putting out enough power to do some low powered flight and will last the duration over normal flight time for the airplane
one or more of the cells has failed leading other cells to discharge into it , buy some tagged AAA cells and rebuild the packs
Q:I have a battery pack that takes 4AA batteries but the black and red wires got broke off of it. Can I take a 9 volt battery and touch the black and red wires into the 9V and make it work?
Gas stations (what are left of them) always charge high non-competitive prices. The installation is never charged for, unless cables or other parts are needed. The cheapest place for a battery is Wal-Mart, where they go from $60-to probably $150 in extreme cases. But of course you did not take it to Wal-Mart so I am not surprised. I wouldn't necessarily condemn the mechanic on that basis alone--his prices might be fair or good in other areas. I take it you weren't actually broken down so you wanted to know how much he charges for batteries and now you know. Has this guy ever done any work that you were satisfied with? If no, then why bother?
