Q:I bought a battery pack for a Game Gear (old sega handheld system) and it came with two parts the wall adapter and the battery pack that it connects to charge it and the charge light won't come on and it was practically new this item was something that was sold years ago is there something wrong with it or do I need to replace the battery part inside if so how do I do that??: Check the power outlet first, if it is working or not. Then the charger. If it don't light, it is the charger.

Q:I just bought these Xbox 360 rechargeable battery packs and i went home to put them in and they aren't turing on my controller and i know my controller's not the problem. Please help: make sure they have charge and just plug the charger in and attempt to play, that should work even without the battery pack, if you mean automatically turn on, most likely no batteries will do that

Q:I just rebuilt a battery pack for my laptop. I took out the old Li ion batteries (which were 2600mah each) and replaced them with the same kind of battery (18650) except the new ones had 4000mah each. I kept the original circuit board, and did the same connections. I didn't have a millimeter though to test them (I know bad)I charged it overnight, it showed in the operating system that it was charging, and after 20 hours of charging, it said low vary after 20 min (where it used to die), but lasted 40 minutes after this for a total of 1 hour. What is going on?Laptop is msi gx630Thanks for your help, I'm clueless, is it from a weak solder joint?: your conclusion that the fault was with the original 2600mah batteries might be incorrect. I know it is quite likely but if it is incorrect, that would explain why batteries you believe are perfectly good are not retaining a charge. The supporting circuitry or perhaps even the motherboard bios could be the problem. The big question is: Are other owners of this model having the same problem? Search on the internet by typing gx630 batteries don't hold charge or something like that. Li Ion batteries sometimes need to be cycled several times to extend their charge time: charge all the way up, run down completely, 3, 4 times. Observe the results carefully to detect any change.,

Q:i just open the battery pack.but someone told me thats not the only way: There are three ways 1. Hold down the Xbox LIVE button (Silver, circle button in between the 'back' and 'start' button) until a window comes up. You can choose either Turn off controller or to Turn off console, so just choose to turn off the controller. 2. Open the battery pack, like you said. 3. Turn off the Xbox console and it automatically turns off. You can also turn on the console by holding the Xbox Live button.

Q:I bought an external battery pack recently to charge my phone on the go. My phone's battery has a 1900mAh capacity and the pack has a capacity of 5200mAh, a little over twice the size of my phones battery. However, the battery pack only has enough juice to charge my phone fully once, and then about a quarter full. The pack is advertised to only have enough to charge an iPhone 4's battery twice, which is a 1450mAh battery, so the company didn't falsely advertise. But I want to know why if it's capacity is twice the amount of my phone, it can only charge it fully, once.The pack charges 1amp at 5V. I was thinking maybe some of the power is lost through heat during the transfer? Cause after all no cable or battery is 100% efficient at power transfer/storage, but that seems an awful lot to lose while it's charging. Anybody know what the problem most likely is?: Might be the false advertisement, company's do this all the time, just so they get more purchases and more more unsatisfied customers.

Q:I have a new electric snowblower and it works well, except plugging in the cord and keeping it straight it a pain. I'm wondering if they make battery packs that you can charge and then hook up to the snow blower (kind of like they have for most weed whackers now). Does anybody know if there's something like this, and where to find it?: I would be afraid of electrocution with one of those.
