Q:I am looking for any information on a 1987 dresser excavator 635b,ie: shop manuals, hydrolic schematic. I would even be intersted in speaking with some who has worked on this machine.Anyone know where to get this info?
problematic factor. lookup on to bing and yahoo. that will could actually help!
Q:What type of co. should I ask to fill my in-ground pool with dirt ?
I've seen many people that just post a sign in their yard saying, 'Clean Fill Wanted'. If you don't want to do that, you can call a local building contractor, and explain what you need.
Q:Background Story: While visiting the museum with my friend, there was a 'what is it?' contest where you had to guess what the tool was. Later in the museum, we saw the exact same tool in the medical area (with all of the old scalpels and aged bottles of medicine). They may have put it in that section just because it looked like a surgical tool, meaning that there is a possibility that it could have been used for something else.
I believe second one is a circular saw used to cut the skull bone. It had teeth around the outside and would be connected to a power source to spin fast.
Q:Hi, I'm in the Navy right now, but I really want to get into construction in the future when I get out, but I have no experience.I've heard that a good idea to get your foot in the door is to take a class to operate heavy equipment. I've researched a couple companies who do classes like that, like ATS, but most of them last months. I want to take classes like this, but I don't think I'll be able to take leave long enough to take one of these classes. Are there any other ways to get some lessons for equipment like dozers, graders, excavators, etc. in a shorter time period? Thanks.
I really don't know. However, please consider the economy right now; construction workers everywhere are being laid-off and many homeless. Otherwise, construction can be a very rewarding career, but maybe you should wait a yr or so and see how things shake out.
Q:what OSHA Specific code is applicable to heavy equipment inspection? For example; crane standard 29 CFR 1926.55. I wan to know the codes related to the following equipment inspection:1) Backhoe or hydraulic excavator2) Bulldozer3) Motor Grader4) Vibratory compactor5) Payloader6) Dumpt Trucks7) All heavy equipment/off-road equipment
I do not believe that the OSH act has anything to do with code inspection!
Q:I am a good mechanic and have a very good experience of dozer and crane excavator maintenance can somebody help me find a good job
My hubby tried SMC.. its not all that good. Its just a drop shipment membership. You will owe them money when you have not made a dime. Don't do it unless you got the money to spend. At anyrate... you can try USAjobs , try America's job bank, there's a lot of construction jobs about to happen with the stimulus package hitting the states ...they will temporarily start reconstructing and repairing old bridges and streets and etc...
Q:Our excavator Cat bucket teeth damaged and changed every week,Some one tell me which brand is better and long life?I hate the adulterated goods .
Cat is prefect. Esco teeth, hensley teeth ,AS teeth and mtg are also good. AS teeth, mtg teeth have OEM service for many brands. Price of the AS teeth is reasonable, productivity of the mtg teeth is smaller, and its delivery time is longer.
Q:Does any one know if an Australian LE excavator license is accepted in Norway?
I would assume that it will be accepted, but you have to apply to have it vetted by the Norwegian authorities. I have provided some links that might be of some help. According to the Accreditation Authorities this is the process for your profession: Excavator operator (Gravemaskinf?rer) Application process You must send your application with a copy of your driving licence to Arbeidstilsynet Oslo, by letter, e-mail or fax. You must supply a translation of your driving licence if it is issued in a language other than English or one of the Nordic languages. In the application you must state the postal address of the person who will receive the letter of authorisation (preferably your employer). For more info see the link below.
Q:hi,my bucket movement is really slow when i try to dig but its ok when i load a truck. So i have a problem with the delay of closing the bucket. My machine is a Caterpillar 325B LN ME.I tried to replace the valve of the hydraulic controller but no use.Does anybody think that i must change a seal kit at the bucket cylinder?
Hydraulic problems are tough to figure out sometimes, but I believe you're right. It sounds like you have internal leaking in the cylinder. Because it shows up under load. Right now it looks like your only option is to tear down the bucket cylinder. If the piston looks good then you could probably get away with repacking it. But if you see scoring on the piston, then have it repaired before repacking. If not than the same problem will show up again real soon. Hope this helps.
Q:We aren't looking for any fancy fence or tile or lights or a diving board (in fact we don't want lights or a diving board, and we were going to use a manual cover). So we would like to know how much all this would cost initially and how much it would cost to install. I live in Naperville IL., and help would be appreciated, thanks.
Initially? Well, you know the price of your kit already. You'll need a contractor to come in to give you an estimate. Sorry, but all backyards are different. The contractor may have to go to a smaller excavator for access ( which takes longer to dig and drives up the price), he may even have to hire a crane to get the excavator in and out of a difficult backyard, the pool you want may not even be possilbe and stay within your municipal bylaws too. The contractor will know all this and they'll usually give you a free quote. There are just too many variables to answer this accurately without seeing it and knowing your own local codes. I can give you a ball park starting figure for the whole shebang. Expect a cost starting of at least 23 grand and it only goes up from there.
