Q:I don't like the cranes that use a wired pulley systems for controlling the camera. The crane will need to carry a 7 pound camcorder.

Q:Has anyone ever folded 1000 paper cranes? If so did your wish come true? If it did come true what did you wish for? :) Thanks so much!
I know of someone who did. They did it as a fundraiser for a village school. They folded the cranes while working on the project, though, so I guess the lesson there is that you can make your own luck. The cranes look beautiful, though!
Q:Hi,what are crane swivels and fishing swivels. are they same
Yes okorder /
Q:I have learned how to make crane but I just can't! I've watched about 6-7 videos for it and i still don't get it!
If that doesn't help at all , try pictures with words . Here are my two favourite sites . They have good instructions and pictures . Really simple to understand .
Q:Many schools I visited claim to teach styles like white crane and even Okinawa/Japanese Karate has come from white crane styles, however I seldom see techniques, kata, forms, or drills that encompass crane concepts of even crane movements. Why is that? At some traditional schools kung-fu/karate it is easy to see the animal influence but at others there is none. Does this also indicate a lack of understanding or incomplete training. What do you think.
The problem looks more like your issue than anyone else, and in your personal definition of crane. Crane has influences a number of styles and is still quite clearly there, your just choosing not to see it. And you could have found a video on youtube to show your point. Anther failing of yours.
Q:dimentions of crane rail, crane beam.
What kind of crane? There are thousands of types.
Q:I live in the upper stairs of this apartment with a huge light right next to the front door, and a bunch of Crane Flies kind of hover around it. So whenever we open the door, some of them come in, and it's a big problem. Especially to a someone like me who's deathly afraid of big bugs.So we want to buy the Raid spray, but we don't know if it would work. The Raid: Ant and Cockroach spray didn't work that well, but that's understandable.sooo anyways, has anyone tried the Flying Insect Raid on Crane flies?
Crane flies do no harm whatsoever, so what you're proposing will replace the total lack of harm that crane flies do with the potential harm of adding more pesticides to the world, plus the byproducts produced in its manufacture and the garbage the can represents later. Is this really worthwhile? I would suggest you look into getting a yellow bug light, it's quite possible that a different type of bulb than what you're using now might be much less attractive to crane flies. If not, addressing your unreasonable fear of insects would be a safer solution.
Q:Well I folded 100 or so cranes from cheap origami paper (red, yellow, green and blue) before I decided that I could fold 1000 cranes a reality. My dilemma is, do I keep the 100 cranes I did and fold 900 of them to fulfill my wish? Or if I discard the 100 cranes and fold 1000, will my wish be granted on the 900th crane? The reason I want to discard the 100 cranes is because it's for my wedding and the color placement of the old cranes isn't fitting at all.Yes I'm aware it's not scientific or realistic, but it's more of faith, I'm not dumb.
Consider what you would like your 100 cranes to mean. Attach strings to your 100 cranes and then hang them in a tree etc so that the wind may carry your prayers where they need to go. Then start again to create the 1000 paper cranes you want for your wedding. PS: The making of the paper cranes involves an act of faith, not the right colour to match your wedding plans. In Japan, the crane represents peace and healing. When we consider the famous Japanese art-form of paper folding (origami) the crane comes to mind before all else. Sadako and the Thousand Paper Cranes (1977), a non-fiction children’s book written by American author Eleanor Coerr, tells the story of young Sadako Sasaki who lived in Hiroshima at the time of the atomic bombing. Sadako developed leukaemia as a consequence, and lived out the remainder of her short life in a nursing home desperately trying to create one thousand paper cranes. Supposedly, if someone could make a thousand paper cranes his/her wish would come true. Sadako wanted to live. Sadly, she only managed to fold 644 cranes. After her death, friends and family folded the remainder, and buried her with the one thousand paper birds. Today, a statue of Sadako holding an enormous golden origami crane stands in the Hiroshima Peace Park. People regularly leave paper cranes. The plaque on the statue reads “This is our cry. This is our prayer. Peace on Earth.”
Q:The question is: A crane has a power of 500watts, and is pulling a 142kg. What is the velocity of the pulling of the crane? Please help and thanks!
I don't remember ever doing a problem like this, but I will try to solve it. P = W/Δt, P = Fd/Δt P = Fv Force required to lift the 142 kg object; F = 142 * 9.8 F = 1391.6 N Therefore; P = Fv 500 = 1391.6*v v = 0.359 m/s So velocity of the crane is 0.359 m/s. Is that right?
Q:I'm researching Stephen Crane for an English project and I need to how Stephen Crane's works effected others. Thanks for the help! xP
I'd mention his book Red Badge of Courage and how it changed the war novel for American and English writers. You can look at books like Catch-22 , MASH, or Hemingway's war novels and find that personal voice that Crane used.
