- Q: I am planing to install a 7770 on my PC but i need a pci-e cable to power it on. So is that cable included or i should purchase one?
- Usually there is a supplied 2 Molex to PCI-E but it is better to have the PCI-E cable built in. Some PSU's do include the PCI-E you can easly check too!
- Q: Basically bought a new graphics card (480 gtx) and im going to install into my computer but i wish to also install a phyx card as well. This seems simple enought but i only have 2 6pin power cables in my pc atm and im am unsure how to install another 2 6pins. Current PSU is a antec 1000w
- Go to a local computer store and buy a Y adapter. All that does is turn 1 connector into 2 by paralleling them.
- Q: Why is the terminal metal housing of the power cable to be grounded?
- WZC: W-halogen-free, ZC-flame retardant class C F46-poly perfluoro-propylene propylene Y - polyolefin sheath 2 - steel tape armor 2 - PVC outer jacket
- Q: I have a Dell Optiplex 790 SFF, I need a replacement power cable, on the manual it says for power: 240W, 1259 Btu/hr, 100 Vac to 240 vac, 50hz to 60 hz 3.6A. I contacted Dell and they said they have a power cable for it, the Dell 5120P cable which is 125 V 10A. Now my concern is with the 10A vs the 3.6A listed on the manual, should I be concerned?
- Thanks David for your expertise!
- Q: Does the ps4 and ps3 have the same power cable?
- Yes it does Adding to that, you need a TV with an hdmi port Also, the power cable doesn#x27;t come with a brick like the Xbox one does
- Q: Hey! I bought a new sound system for my truck including 4 new speakers, a sub, a 5-channel amp, and I'm running all new wiring. So far I've got the 3 RCA cables ran, along with the blue remote turn-on wire along the right side of my truck. I plan to run the Power wire down the left side and then to my amp.I've heard that you put the power wire and RCA cables on different sides, which is what I've done, but is it ok for my speaker wires to be run beside or close to the power wire(4-gauge fyi)? For example, the right side speaker wires wont be near it, but the left side speaker wires will be...Will this cause any weird noise from my speakers?I don't have the names/etc of all my gear right in front of me, but if u rly need it, I will quot;add detailsfor you! Thanks!!
- Well....That is determined by how colossal the amp is. An extension wire has either 2 or three wires inside of at someplace between sixteen and 12 gauge wire. You could twist the entire conductors together and be excellent up to about 40 amps with three 12 gauge wires. The quandary with amplifiers is current no longer voltage. The thicker the wire the more present it will handle. Most any wire you purchase is rated as a minimum 120V. Check what dimension fuse the amp requires, whether it is more than 30 to forty amps i would purchase the correct size single wire for the amp. Also, fuse the wire at the battery. Fire is just not our pal. :)
- Q: Please i need help
- u can find about your power supply cable . its hp parts direct store number.
- Q: Ok, my pc and monitor have the same socket for a power cable, and i mixed the two cables up, but one has a 5 amp fuse and one has a 10 amp fuse... What one goes where??
- Try it out one way and if it your computer starts smoking, quickly unplug them and try it the other way. Make sure you are using 220v.
- Q: at the end of power cable are 2 wires
- I don't know what you mean by 302cm power cable. When it has 2 wires, one if usually the hot (power) and one is the ground (earth.) I don't know much else that'll help you, sorry.
- Q: Okay so I am trying to upgrade my graphics card and In order ti di That I need a new Power Supply Unit. The PSU I was looking at is a 850 watt one and it has six pin connectors. The problem is all my componets are 4 pin connectors. If I get the new power supply can I somehow get a 6 pin connector to fit in a four pin like a adapter or something. BTW in order for the graphics card to function I need a six pin but all my other stuff in 4. So is there a way to work that out
- Most modern component use SATA power cables. Some older components uses the 4 pin molex connector, and by old I don't mean old really, I mean recent. Even CD/Blu-ray drives are going to SATA power now though =[, so 4 pins may be phased out in the next decade or so. Many modern PSU's come with 4 pin molex connectors, PCI-e X6 pin connectors, and a variety of other connectors you'll need. If you really are worried just check the specifications, it should list all the connectors it has. If you're getting a 850Watt PSU chances are it will have some variation of PCI-E X6 pins, either x6 pin or x6 + 2 (6 + 2 basically functions like a 6 pin and will work just like a 6 pin, so don't freak out about that either). And most modern PSU's will come with plenty of 4 pin molex cables as well. Basically, you should be fine no matter what. And yes, there are 4 pin Molex to 6 pin PCI-e power adapters, normally it takes 2 Molex to power 1 6 pin though.
