Q:I live in Chicago, and I want to know if somebody can help me. The next house on mine have electrical power cable, telefon and cable from my back yard and pas my propriety aprox 60 tf, the last two stay on my garage, its legal ?Know haw i can do to move the cable? some codes or regulation, samething? Thanks, Best regards.
I do not know the codes or regulations in Chicago but i do know in most states it against the law to have power lines resting on a structure. Those two lines resting on the garage could be the cable and phone company's and that is not against the law. However you could call the phone company and cable company and ask them to move them for you. If you can make a valid point that those lines are causing you harm or disturbing you in anyway possible then the company's will have to move it. And for the power cables there is probably nothing you can do unless it is really resting on your garage. But they will just tighten the line and not actually move it.
Q:Cable bttz-4 * (1 * 50) and bttz-4 * 50 What is the difference
There is no difference between BTTZ25 square can only do single core. BTTZ is a kind of outer layer with seamless copper tube jacket, the middle filled with magnesia crystal powder as insulation material, the conductor is a single strand of copper rods composed of new cables, in recent years are also more used in high-rise buildings, airports, Underground railways and other places, to protect the fire in the case of fire pumps, fire elevators, local lighting, emergency evacuation instructions, security monitoring, anti-smoke system and self-powered power and other important equipment uninterrupted operation. The main features of the editor it has a high temperature, fire, explosion, no combustion (250 ℃ can be a long time running, 1000 ℃ limit state can also be 30min short time operation) and the current flow, small diameter, high mechanical strength , Long service life, generally do not need the characteristics of independent grounding wire. Application range Editor Widely used in nuclear power plants, metallurgy, chemical industry, mine, kiln and other dangerous, bad, high temperature environment. In recent years, more applications in high-rise buildings, airports, docks, subway and other places, to protect the fire in the case of fire pumps, fire elevators, local lighting, emergency evacuation instructions, security surveillance, anti-smoke system and self Power and other fire fighting and important equipment without interruption.
Q:Why is my 2 Gage power cable from the battery to my amp is to hot and makes a big spark and burns the wire when you meet one end to the other end?
Too hot means the current is very high. Probably in excess of 200 amps. I suspect there is a short in the amp, specially if you tried to connect it hot and drew a spark. That will kill a lot of electronics. .
Q:What does the cable (YJV-5 * 6) mean?
ZR-flame retardant Y-polyethylene J-crosslinked V-PVC sheathed YJV is copper core, YJLV is expressed as aluminum core, where L is aluminum. 22 indicates the type of armor armor, and 32. So the full name is: flame retardant copper conductor cross-linked polyethylene insulated PVC sheathed power cable 4 * 16 that there are a total of four copper wire, which each cross-sectional area of 16 square millimeters
Q:I have my friends PC at my house to change a few components but apparently the PC doesn't work properly. I insert the power connectors ( 20 and 4 pin connectors ) into the motherboard, plug the power cable into the PSU and when i turn the power button on the PSU the computer will start but do nothing. It never worked like that before, i always used the power button from the computer to turn it off and on. And this happened just after i changed a PSU. Now the old Power Supply doesn't work either. Is there any way to stop the computer from turning itself on ?
On the motherboard, you will find a small battery. If you take it out, it resets the BIOS. Make sure the power cable is unplugged as well. Other wise a new mother board is required.
Q:How, i guess versatile are they. I have a Dell M1730. Basically i went on a plane and left the power cable in the suitcase, took the laptop as carry on and they lost my luggage. Is this something i HAVE to buy from dell, or can i run to circuit city and get something. The brick for this laptop is HUGE.....my dad's laptop cable fits in fine, but i'm afraid to plug it into an outlet.Thanx
Dell is better than they used to be. Their XPS laptops are not half bad, and their standard cheap ones are good for basic use (school, surfing the web, etc). I find them fun to modify, but that is probably a bit above the level of most general users. HP is pretty solid, Asus is a good contender (I have had a few Asus laptops with no issues), and Toshibas are good for general use as well. I do recommend to you (and anyone who uses a computer) to actually learn basic maintenance and repair for your computer. Saves you money in the long run, and with a decent level of knowledge, you will rarely even need any sort of tech support. Computer basics are not difficult, you just have to take the time to learn it.
Q:Can I connect a single HDD and a DVD drive to the same SATA cable or will that draw too much power? I have 3 sata cables and a modular 850W PSU so I could use another cable if I needed to.
Power cables YES Data cables YES *but not recommended. (you would require additional hardware.) Normally the 7 pin DATA cables are considered 1 to 1. BUT with some hardware its possible to change that. Power cables are dependent on your power supply being big enough - 850W certainly sounds big enough but you need to know what is being used, such as is it powering hungry graphics cards etc?
Q:So this is on my brothers christmas list and I can't find one anywhere. I'm assuming that computers don't have the juice to power a 1TB external without a power source, especially since he needs this for a laptop. He just wants it USB powered, btw.If anyone can find one for me that would be great, because I can't seem to...Thanks!
USB okorder / It's the only one I'm finding, and it seems to meet the specifications you're looking for. Also, USB powered. I don't recommend usb-only powered drives, but it's a free country. :-) -Matt
Q:the contant power cables go to my car alarm, led lights, siren, power locks, power windows, and alarm bypass... they are very small thin awg wires... the ignition and constant power cables under ignition housing are alot thicker... is this possible with no problems?
I wouldn't tap into any wires where your alarm is.. If you have any issue, it could arm your alarm, and you might not be able to start your car, until the wiring was fixed...
Q:Does anyone know where i can find a power cable for sale for a 'Seagate Expansions 500GB External Desktop USB 2.0 Hard Drive ' ?
Radio Shack or any computer store can sell you a generic replacement power cable for the drive. You can also get a replacement USB cable for it while you're at it in case that cable is wearing out. - Stuart
