Q:In a batch file, I know what this will do.set/p cho=gt;if %cho%==w goto UPif %cho%==a goto LEFTif %cho%==d goto RIGHTYou press the key, hit enter, and it goes to the corresponding section in the batch file. But how do I make it, so when the user of the file presses one key, it goes to that section instantly without having to press enter?
Something like this ECHO OFF SET Choice= SET /P Choice=Press enter to open abc.exe (and something else to quit) IF %Choice%== GOTO Start GOTO End :Start echo abc.exe about to start abc.exe :End EDIT: If you want just any key without pressing enter then this is impossible with the DOS scripting language but you could write a little exe utility who will do that for you. Here is how it looks: C:Usersholtest Press enter to open abc.exe (and something else to quit) If you press enter then we get: C:Usersholtest2 Press enter to open abc.exe (and something else to quit) abc.exe about to start 'abc.exe' is not recognized as an internal or external command, operable program or batch file. C:Usershol I have not abc.exe so there is an error message. The other way around C:Usersholtest2 Press enter to open abc.exe (and something else to quit)x gives C:Usersholtest2 Press enter to open abc.exe (and something else to quit)x C:Usershol Basically set /p ask the user to specify the value of Choice when it is just enter then it is an empty string and we can start otherwise we end. Change it around for your liking.
Q:i am 13 years old , 102 pounds, does squatting excercise the upper body?is squatting better than leg pressing?if squatting works the upper body should i do it because i work the upper body on other days?will squatting or leg pressing make me stronger in my legsi have never squattedi leg press 150 pounds 12 repsplease don't tell me i'm to young to weight lifti want to know which excercise makes my legs strongerdoes leg pressing work the hamstrings as a major muscle and what muscles do both of the excersises work?
The squat is an excellent exercise, but I would always recommend the leg press or hack squat for their safty. I use the hack squat myself, never try to squat without a spotter.
Q:is cold pressed oil oil better for you and why? is it healthier?
Cold pressed olive oil is not better for you. However it is a higher quality olive oil with a significantly better taste. It is a very low heat method of processing. Heat degrades the flavor of oils, though it increases the yield. That is why it is more expensive.
Q:I saw press on nail polish and I was wondering how it actually stays on your nails.
Press-on nail polish is more like stickers for your nails. You remove the backing and you stick them on your nails. You may want to cut them to suit your nail shape. It gives your nails an effect of wearing nail polish. You don't have to wait for it to dry like nail polish.
Q:Im 22 years old currently leg pressing 720 lbs.. I went from 655 lbs to that huge number it seems that i can't do no more then this, The machine will max out at 810lbs doubt i can get there. I would like to leg press 2,300 lbs like Ronnie Coleman what did he do to get that whopping number. How can i do that and what else should i eat. Is he on steroids
Eat some burgers and fries to get some junk in yo trunk. Then baby will have back, lol.
Q:Hi. Every time i boot up my computer i get a message saying my CPU fan has failed, system shut down to prevent further damage.. press F2 to continue.when i press F2 it boots up just fine. i was wondering if its bad to continuously press F2 every time i boot my computer
Change your CPU fan that cool the CPU. When heats up it reboots.
Q:I'm new at pressing my mac pigments. I recently bought a bunch of mac pigment samples. I have two of each color with eaxactly 1/4 tsp in each. I read that your supposed to press with 3/4. Is it okay to press with less than 3/4?
Hi! Yes, definitely. You don't have to have exactly 3/4 tsps for it to work. 3/4 tsp might be the measurement needed to fill an eyeshadow pan, if that's where you're pressing your pigments. But then again, it's up to you if you want to fill the pan or not. You don't actually have to be very scientific about pressing pigments. Basically, keep dropping a few drops of 91% alcohol, mix it, and once it gets to the point that it's the the mixture holds/clumps together (you don't want it to be runny, and you'd know if it's still dry). If you put too much alcohol, you shouldn't worry b/c it dries up anyway. It just makes it hard to shape and press it. That's why the key is to put a few drops of alcohol at a time. There's really no exacty # of drops to # of teaspoons of pigments. I've pressed a LOT of pigments myself, and I don't even measure how much I use. Just be sure that after pressing it (press it firmly!), leave it open to air dry :)
Q:Not so long ago, the press was highly deferential to those in high office. For example, President Kennedy had numerous affairs, and the press knew about them, but did not report them to the public. Queen Mary, the grandmother of the present Queen, smoked cigarettes and died of lung cancer, but when she died, the cause of death was reported to be gastric problems. While most people knew that Franklin Roosevelt was crippled by polio, the press, most of the time, refrained from taking pictures of his withered legs. Then, all of a sudden, the press turns around. The Pentagon Papers are published. Princess Diana is hounded mercilessly. Walter Cronkite, who was the male equivalent to Jane Fonda, goes to Vietnam, misinterprets the results of the Tet offensive, and demoralizes the American people, thereby giving great aid and comfort to our enemy, North Vietnam. Oh, and don't forget Watergate, when the press hounded Nixon out of office. So what happened? When, where, and why did the press change like that?
Traitor is a subjective term, and the behavior in which you are providing examples of have been around since free press but most certainly not definitively treasonous. Treason within United States Constitutional law, cannot be used lightly by any authority and only with Congressional demand to do so. Outside the American Civil War, treason was most often a subject of the McCarthy era and the even earlier (and just as controversial) Alien and Sedition Acts. As it may be recalled though, the late United States president Andrew Jackson had his *wife* openly mocked by the press during the mud slinging election of 1828. Colorful (if sometimes incredibly offensive) political comics were also distributed in addition to libelous print during the same era. The very Kennedy you mentioned was also violently criticized for simply being Catholic by the media. That the press did not attempt and run with anything else was perhaps also because such episodes were kept effectively secret in the same manner that president Roosevelt went to extreme lengths to keep his crippling disease hugely private. Often the latter went so far as to have special *trains* constructed to enable him to move without getting out of his limo. Though positive coverage is not necessarily 'good': Wars tend to get rosy coverage to begin with (which even occurred in Vietnam), and the first reports of the First World War routinely mentioned the conflict was to end quickly and bloodlessly. The German public was even surprised when their host nation surrendered, as all was well to their knowledge. Scandalous print is not a product of today or in resurgence, it's simply ignored often for selective benefit for the same reason violent television is falsely referred to as a modern phenomenon in spite of the, 'Cowboys Vs. Indians' trope. Case in point: One need only look at the often tasteless headlines of the New York, Daily News to remove any doubt that such material was ever published.
Q:Pigment pressing pan
you okorder honestly, i don't know of an actual store that sells those but you can get those clean empty pans from either of those 2 sites above. just double check on which deal is gonna work best for you! :) good luck with your pigment pressing!
Q:Today he smacked me across the face because I almost turned in some reports late. I know that he has a drinking problem, so I can understand why he would want to hit me, and I'm not really mad. Should I press charges?
Yes! you should press charges against your boss. There is no excuse....it shouldnt matter if he has a drinking problem or if you turned your reports in late noone has a right to put their hands on you especially at a place of work. You should also ask your co workers about it see if he has physically done anything to them this could be a serious matter i wouldnt look over it just because he drinks
