Try this with light dumbbells as they allow for a greater range of motion. Now go slow and when you push up, concentrate on feeling your chest muscles tighen. If you really want to get a massive chest and some good tris, try inclines more so than a flat bench, and also do dips. Lean as far forward as you can and dont lockout. this will keep constant tension on the chest region
