- The press has never been unbiased. Ever heard of William Randolph Hearst? Obama is young and good looking. McCain is older. We're just seeing another example in the vein of Kennedy/Nixon. Also, the American press is by no means liberal. Compared to the news services of other countries such as the UK, the US press is extremely conservative.

- Well a hard press just temporarily straightens your hair where as a relaxer permanently straightens it. So since you only got your hair press, your hair is likely to absorb moisture and puff up. So try to avoid water, rain, sweating, humidity(hot weather) and steam from the shower (you have to tie your hair up). But those are all preventative measures and it seems like the damage has already been done. You probably need to run through it again with a flat iron.

- Do you want to press charges is really the equivalent of asking, are you willing to be a cooperative witness? Obviously, to prove some types of crimes, the victim's cooperation is absolutely necessary. For instance, an element of a theft charge is that the property was taken from victim without victim's consent. So, the victim will need to cooperate and testify He did not have my permission in order to successfully prosecute. Some types of crimes really do not need victim testimony, such as murder -- it's reasonable for a jury to assume that the victim did not consent to being killed.
- Q: I know it makes coffee, but if I went for a French Press as a replacement for buying an espresso maker could it do the same thing?
- No, though the French press will make excellent brewed coffee, nothing is like an espresso maker. My preference is for a real one that accepts ground coffee, and eventually also soft coffee pods from any brand, not the Lavazza or Nespresso types that don't give you the choice. Ah, and of course, the best is to buy (roasted) coffee beans and to grind them yourself (using a coffee and/or spice grinder) I have a DéLonghi espresso maker, quite basic and not expensive (~80 $). Very convenient and great coffee! Enjoy!
- Q: I have been a Plate maker in offset printing for 5 years and ran a digital press for a year is this Flexo press hard to learn and understand? What does the assistant press man do on a Flexo graphic press? Any info would help. Thanks.
- Working on a Flexo is much like any other presses with the BIG difference that the material stretches and has to be compensate with a certain tolerance. Flexography uses fast-drying inks. I used to prepress for a labelling company and before outputting the films/plate, I needed to know how many teeth on the gear to compensate for the stretching. Otherwise, the finished product would be squished or over-stretched. By adjusting the gear ratio to the cylinder, the films are outputted giving the impressiion that they are stretched slightly. This is to allow the plastic on the press to fall back to normal once printed.

- Q: 6th grade girl basketball coach,were going to be playing alot of teams that press alot and i need a easy press breaker for these girls cause we were put into the league late and dont have alot of time to work on it from what little i seen on acouple of teams play last year they play alot of man to man full court with an occasional double team.one advantage i got is i can have 3 or 4 descent ball handlers at the same time.but if i can countinously beat their press and force them to try to slow the game down i can put my best player in,shes hefty but a muscle inside we can shut from outside with no fear cause she boxes out so well shell get the rebound and in result give us 20 pts a game but shes so hefty she cant handle the fast pace game so please help me come up with a soluton thanks
- My team used a very easy press break. It's a bit hard to explain, but when it comes together, it works like a dream. - First, you have two players on either side of the court, waiting for the inbound. - Once inbounded, the Passer, steps into the center of the court. - They pass amongst themselves till they find an opening in the press. - Meanwhile, there are two other people standing at about midcourt, on both sides. - The person at midcourt standing opposite the side the ball is on will run to the middle of the floor looking for possible passes. - If the ball is passed to them, he/she can either bring the ball up more or turn, and pass to the opposite side. There is no excuse....it shouldnt matter if he has a drinking problem or if you turned your reports in late noone has a right to put their hands on you especially at a place of work. You should also ask your co workers about it see if he has physically done anything to them this could be a serious matter i wouldnt look over it just because he drinks
