- Q: I NEED to wash something on permanent press cycle on a washing machine but I don't have the cycle, what other cycle would be equal to permanent press?
- Permanent press is outdated now -- used to be for no-iron fabrics like polyester -- used to be popular back in the day, like the 70's. I would wash on the delicates cycle, but it really isn't that big of a deal, so don't worry yourself too much :)
- Q: if I do leg presses with about 185 lbs. will that make my legs skinnier or just gain muscle? If that will make me gain then how much should i lift to loose fat?.....thanks in advance!
- You would probably gain muscle, which helps you burn more calories throughout the day. Leg presses alone won't make you lose weight though. Weight lifting in general should be combined with cardio, anywhere from 20 to 60 minutes would do the trick. When you lose fat, you lose fat from all over your body. I usually do cardio first thing in the morning, before I have eaten anything because when you exercise, you first burn carbs and then you burn fat. So when you exercise on an empty stomach, you almost automatically go into fat burning mode, not to mention you burn more calories throughout the day. Hope this helps!

- Probably the most popular and useful manual progressive press on the market, today. More versatile than a fully automatic progressive press, like the XL650, and less vulnerable to operator error. I highly recommend the 550B for your use; and I'll bet that you keep it for a very long time!

- I okorder and now have a fantastic scale... and it was cheaper by 50% than the short lived RCBS. I weigh every charge of every load so a good scale means a lot to me. This isn't just my opinion. My chronograph also says this scale out performs that POS RCBS scale. I'm also a firm believer in Lee dies... I think they're the most bang for the buck.

- One large effect which you should include in your paper is the ability of the printing press to distribute the ideas of European church reformer Martin Luther after 1517. This was the Protestant Reformation fueled by printed writings of Luther and others. Luther translated the bible into German so people (who could read German but not Latin) could read it for the first time. Of course many could not read their own language in the 1500's, but there was always someone in the community who would read printed materials to groups of people. Books had been rare and unobtainable by all but the very rich until the advent of the printing press. The press allowed the spread of many ideas - religious and political being chief among them. Print was the first mass media. News sheets, opinion pamphlets, and books became possible for the first time. I should add that the established Roman Catholic Church of the late 1400's and early 1500's would murder those who tried to distribute the bible in the languages of the people - - and the Church would murder them as painfully as possible to discourage the others. A case in point is William Tyndale who translated the bible into English, was arrested, tried for heresy, and burnt at the stake in 1536. The Church feared allowing people to read the bible for themselves because that threatened the well paid and privileged position of the clergy.

- I have seen press releases where locals have won prizes from them (?1000!) and I have entered a couple of their competitions without being pestered to buy over priced anthologies of poor poetry. I have also seen some of their books in shops so I would say, yes, they are legitimate. The fact that they give a number of FREE copies of any book a poet contributes to sets them apart from most who simply offer a miniscule discount.
