Q:Loose Powder or Pressed Powder for OILY skin?????
I have really oily skin and I use pressed powder. I would recommend Stay Matte by Rimmel, it's the best powder I've ever used. :D Hope I helped!
Q:Chest and Shoulder Pain while Bench Press?
Sounds like a rotator cuff injury. Don't bench press..... or shoulder press.. or do delt lateral raises. If you have torn a tendon the pain will be severe... so it is likely that you have a tendonitis. For recovery you should see an expert for diagnosis. Usually recovery involves strengthening exercises around the rotator cuff using simple movements on the cable machine.. light dumbells etc... Look around your gym and you will see a guy or two that use light dumbells in sideways movements... overhead arnold presses etc... these guys are probably nursing a shoulder injury... but fact is, all those little movements help build strength in and aroudn the shoulder joints and this adds considerably to your strength, long term so really everyone should do them... but they dont... most guys at the gym are show ponies looking in the mirror at their pecs and trying to bench 100kg.
Q:board presses?
Put the boards at sticking point and do instead of normal pressing. Train for strength not mass. i.e. low reps. DO for 4-6 weeks. If you feel yourslef getting stronger reduce board height, at the end you should be presing a bit more. Look up Louie Simmons and westside barbell, they invented this and he has a new book out.
Q:press charges/ accuse / convict/ drop charges?
to accuse means to claim that someone did something. It is definitely not yet proven. Press charges means to legally file a claim of criminal conduct. The charge is the legal accusation, a statement of what the person is supposed to have done and what law was violated by doing that. It is still not proven. A conviction, in legal sense, means that the person has been tried, been brought to court and found guilty, meaning that the accusation has been judged to have been proven. A conviction means that the accusation is considered to be true by those people who have the job to make that decision. To drop charges means that the police have decided that there is not enough proof of the truth of the accusation to justify pressing charges. Generally this means that there is not much proof of the accusation, with the suggestion that the accusation was false. It might be simply a case of there not being enough evidence to demonstrate the truth of the accusation, rather than a judgement of falsehood of the accusation. Either way, though, the result is the same. The charge is removed. In our western legal system, the general idea is that a person is considered innocent until proven guilty. The decision turns on whether there is proof of guilt, rather than proof of innocence. The problem with this is, of course, that an innocent person does not usually get to prove his innocence, and thus even if found not guilty, or even if charges are dropped, there is always some doubt as to whether the person is actually innocent, or simply got away with doing something because there wasn't enough proof. being not guilty is not exactly the same as being innocent. Being innocent is definitely being not guilty, but not guilty is not definitely being innocent.
Q:What do you use the permanent press wash machine cycle for?
Just things you want to be a bit more gentle with than the regular cycle.
Q:Impacts and changes of the printing press?
1: The printing press made the manufacturing of books cheaper, easier, and faster. 2: The printing press allowed books to be accessible to more people (cheaper and greater amount of books.) 3: The printing press allowed the spread of ideas across a wider area (spread of books --spread of knowledge/ideas) How's that?
Q:How did the printing press contribute to this revolution?
There is no definate multiple of your bodyweight that you should be able to squat or leg press. It varies from person to person as each individual has a different proportion of fast and slow twitch muscle fibres in their body. Those with more fast twitch tend to have more explosive power, so could leg press say 160kg 4 times at most, however, a person with more slow twitch fibres may be able to leg press 100kg 15 times. Squatting is a compound exercise, and therefore requires a number of muscles to a) provide the motion and b) to stabilize and support those of part a. Typically, you will be able to squat less that when on a leg press because you have the stability to account for. But, squats are a better measure for lower body strength because it requires all of the links to be strong in order to be able to lift safely. For a leg workout in the gym, make squatting the first exercise. This means your legs are completely fresh. Then do the leg press. This is as if you did the leg press forst, you'd be weaker on the squat and may run the risk of serious injury if you get a 'twinge'. Personally, I weight 80KG and can squat 105KG for 12 reps (going so that my hamstrings are parallel to the floor at the bottom of the movement) but can leg press (after squats) 140KG for 12 reps. So from my ability, it would be about 1.4 times the squat. Machines will vary as each has different friction levels and provides a different path of motion for the body to travel.
Q:Drip, French press or percolate?
As long as you are using fresh roasted, fresh ground beans, there is really very little difference between the methods. Hot water is being filtered through ground roasted beans. Drip coffee can be kept warmer longer, and there is also the advantage of being able to make larger quantities at a time vs. French press. Percolated coffee does tend to get more grounds in it, but is also good.
Q:If I pressed pigments with less than 3/4 will it still work out?
Hi! Yes, definitely. You don't have to have exactly 3/4 tsps for it to work. 3/4 tsp might be the measurement needed to fill an eyeshadow pan, if that's where you're pressing your pigments. But then again, it's up to you if you want to fill the pan or not. You don't actually have to be very scientific about pressing pigments. Basically, keep dropping a few drops of 91% alcohol, mix it, and once it gets to the point that it's the the mixture holds/clumps together (you don't want it to be runny, and you'd know if it's still dry). If you put too much alcohol, you shouldn't worry b/c it dries up anyway. It just makes it hard to shape and press it. That's why the key is to put a few drops of alcohol at a time. There's really no exacty # of drops to # of teaspoons of pigments. I've pressed a LOT of pigments myself, and I don't even measure how much I use. Just be sure that after pressing it (press it firmly!), leave it open to air dry :)
Q:How Long To See Bench Press Results?
Gary, You usually will be able to see results from bench pressing in about 2 weeks. Make sure that you are lifting weight that you are comfortable with and also with a spotter for safety reasons. Incline bench press will help out your upper chest and shoulder areas. If you want to really get a killer chest, do chest fly's with dumbbells. This will strictly work mainly your chest muscles. Combining these two exercises together, you should be able to see substantial results in about 3 weeks to a month. Hopes this helps you Gary!
