- Pushups or press ups are a calisthenic exercise and mosts people can rapidly improve to the point that they can churn out lots of repetitions. In which case there is no longer enough resistance going on to allow you to get a bigger chest. If you want to increase muscular size, you need to do progressive resistance exercise...Weight lifting where you can constantly increase the weight as you grow stronger. Updog is right in that you may become more defined, but that's about it....

- Do them with dumbbells instead. It's won't tax your rotator cuffs as much. A shoulder press from the front will still engage those very same muscles so don't worry about it. What you should do for those back muscles is do some heavy trap shrugs.

- they are pressed into the piston. you have to remove the head to get it out. after all that work you might as well get another piston and wrist pin out of the junk yard but you will need a ring compressor to put it back in.
- Q: I tighten the belt as much as I can (sorta hard to adjust) but it still jams. It's an inexpensive mastercraft 10 model. The belt looks fine to me but I don't know what to look for. It jams a lot, almost unusable with a 7/8 forstner bit. Really annoying. I would definately get a new belt if I thought that was it. I think it didn't jam as much when it was new. The other day the belt just came off while running for no apparent reason (it was plenty tight). Thanks for any help anyone can suggest. Could it be alignment?
- drill press belts stretch over time, especially if the bit has been binding. you could just replace the belt. if your particular press allows you to adjust belt tension, usually by moving the motor away from the fixed wheel, try that. you should be able to use that forstner bit, just speed up the press, and drill slowly. Hope that helps.
