- You may be using the wrong terms to describe what you're trying to do, but based on what you've asked, there's nothing you need to press to erase your computer's memory on start up. Memory requires continuous voltage to keep data stored within its matrices. When your computer turns off or reboots, the voltage to your computer's memory is interrupted and effectively wipes it clean. I can't imagine you're talking about wiping the data off your hard drives (*not* 'memory'), since this would wipe out Windows/Mac OS... It did just hit me that you may be looking to erase your browser's cache (cookies, history, etc.) to keep other people using your computer from seeing which sites you've visited. In Firefox, you can do this by navigating to Tools Clear Recent History. You can also download, install, and run a program called CCleaner to clear all browser private data for Firefox and Internet Explorer, as well as locally stored search information (such as searches you've run for files on your computer), temporary Windows files, and other similar information.

- Yes of course pressing the brake is going to slow the vehicle. However with a manual transmission as you slow you need to gear down, as I'm sure you know. No, you do not have to press the clutch when you press the brake in,.. but if you are slowing a great deal , it would be wise to hold the clutch in while braking (and if you have the coordination gearing down (letting the engine help brake, as well). Why? Because if you are in, say, 4th gear.. at 45mph -- and you need to slow down to 15mph -- the car will bog down and might stall out by just pressing the brake and not the clutch (which is essentially neutral) -- then selecting the proper gear when done braking.

- Go ahead and let it go into safe mode. Try to do a regular reboot after. Sometimes lost files will be restored. In the worst you may have to do a system restore or system recovery. Extreme you may have to reimage.

- Q:Hi there! Okay, I'm doing a square cross stitch design, and at the moment its in an oval frame to keep it tight. But eventually when its finished I'm going to want to frame it, and when I remove the oval, there's going to be the oval crease in it. So how can I combat this? Do I just continue stitching inside the oval until I can't anymore, remove it, do the rest of the design and then iron it afterwards? In the instructions it has got how to press it, face down with the iron on medium, but I just thought I'd double check so I don't make a mess of it in the end. Thanks a lot in advance! :)

- It depends on your stance when doing squats. The wider apart your feet are then the more your glutes will be involved...the closer you stand the more your thighs take over. The same goes for leg press. Also, on leg press the lower you place your feet the less the glutes will be working. For size keep reps between 8-12 for weight loss 15-20 reps.
