- Yes it can, but the military press isnt even necessary. There are a lot of exercises for your shoulders that dont involve lifting over your head. First if you do bench presses, your shoulders, especially the anterior or front shoulder muscles is getting worked. I hardly work my shoulders seperatley and they have continued to grow just from the work they get in conjunction with other body parts being used. However, you might want to try working the lateral delts, the side part of the shoulder, you can do this through raises.

- Well. You are most likely fine. Its just muscle soarness. By pushing that, you are building muscles. In order to build muscle, you must first tear them. - leg press can be too easy with the 45 degree thing, much better progress and larger muscles can come doing squats and its better for flexibility as well yes bad circulation will exhaust your muscles and the bigger the muscles the bigger the effect. maybe you need some hypoxic training?
