- Q: Does pressed powder cover up redness on your face???How can i cover redness up??
- Well, it really depends on what powder you buy. Something such as MACs Studio Fix Powder would give excellent coverage, because it was meant to be a powder foundation. Something like NARS pressed powder, no, not so much. What i would suggest for concealing redness is a good concealer. I like the Bobbi Brown Creamy Concealer and the Kevyn Aucion Sensual Skin Enhancer. Don't buy into the products with a green tint, which are meant to neautralize redness. No matter what, it just looks like you have put some kind of green make-up on your face. The only one that really works is the Make-Up Forever HD Foundation Primer in green. Just put on a bit before all your othe makeup, and all your redness is GONE! It's a miricale.

- You didn't press charges or charge him. You filled out a Police Report. The Police investigated and charged him. Only the Police/DA can dismiss charges, and it isn't going to happen. What he did was very serious. The justice system will be the best help he can get. Mom obviously didn't do it. You did the right thing. Don't let anyone make you feel badly. PS If the Police work out a plea bargain or the gentleman pleads guilty , you and the girls will not have to sit in the courtroom.

- Q: hello, im pressing a sunflower for my girlfriend, and i just got it, its just bigger than a CD rom, so its grown quite a bit, and i snipped the stem off, and it has this leafy backing, which wouldnt let me properly sandwich the petals, so i used a knife and cut some away, but the middle seeds started to come out a bit at the edges and some petals fall. BASICALLY i got most of it off and the flower intact and will arrange nice when its done. but should i have done somethign different ? like pluck all the petals ? and arrange after or what ? :o plz help me! i have never pressed anything that is a bit thick at the center before. !!!!many thanks if some1 can share their experience !!! + tips? :D
- You need to build a pad of absorbent material so the face of the flower is kept flat. Be sure to add a cardboard ventilator under the bottom pad of of newspaper to encourage good airflow. Perhaps you can shape some styrofoam packing material to compress the stalk and receptacle. Another way is to get silica gel in bulk. Place a layer in the bottom of a container large enough to hold the sunflower head (inflorescence). Arrange the petals evenly, Bury the entire flower head with silica gel and place in a warm, dry area. It may take a week or more to remove all the moisture from the structures.
