What are the materials?
Our rattan furniture is woven by hand with environment-friendly PE rattan on strong powder-coated metal or aluminum structure with soft cushions and pillows. The cushions are usually replaceable and washable.
PE Rattan/PVC Rattan/Poly Rattan/Synthetic Rattan: durable and UV and weather resistant

- I don't know if your area has any stores, but Big Lots has sectionals right now for $299.00 they also have a web site!! Also, check around where you have flee markets, in my area there is usually a tractor trailer with new furniture on it for cheap money, and some Habitat for Humanity (reuse) stores have brand new furniture its more or less a shot in the dark but some get lots of new stuff in daily.. hope it helps
- Q: do cats prefer to claw certain types of material?i'd really like leather sofas but i'm afraid of my cat clawing them. he doesn't claw my fabric sofas at the moment. he seems to like digging his claws into a rug that i have, which has quite a rough surface.any advice would be great. thanks
- There's really no telling. Each cat is different, and your cat may surprise you. Best way to make everyone happy: Buy yourself the sofa you want, buy your cat a nice scratching post, and invest some time and energy into training. My husband's cat has DESTROYED his fabric desk chair. So when I moved my leather desk chair in, I covered it (except the seat and inside back) with pieces of scotch tape, sticky side out. I left it there as long as necessary for her to get the picture she is NOT WELCOME applying her claws to that furniture. Just do make sure you provide an alternative scratching location that you approve of, since cats NEED to scratch their claws.
- Q: So healthy urine Track infection free cats.. who gets love attention, food water, 2 private litter boxes one self cleaning one standard. I have 4 cats, all spayed. I don't know what's wrong.. they don't pee anywhere but my living room mainly on my sofa when it's covered with plastic or fabric... otherwise under it or in the opposite corner. I don't know what's going on with them.. it's been months.. of a nearly daily occurance. Every morning and night they get cuddled and played with (they are only alone a few hours out of the day and that's not nessecarily when they pee.) don't know what else it can be. Any ideas would be great. I read stuff about Prozatc and l- lysin for cats.. Is this crazy? I love my cats but I can not live in thier little box.

- Q: I have a light yellow sofa (not my choice!) and I've noticed within the 3 years that I have had it the colour is looking pretty grubby...!The covers are like a corduroy material. I'd like to wash the covers as soon as possible! Do you think it would be OK to put the seat covers and cushions in the washing machine? I was thinking of putting them in a light wool cycle with a soft detergent.Can anyone help?

- Q: My child urinated on the sofa more than once. Unfortunatly, the sofa is one part and cannot be cleaned. Is there anyway to get thesmell out?
- You could hire a stream cleaner?about (?15) to hire. it would take a little while for your sofa to dry out but it would come up clean. You could just unload a whole can of fabreeze onto it? you could have it cleaned by a professional and then have it scotch guarded too keep away smells in the future.
- Q: My dog is 5 years old and we've had her since she was a puppy...She's a pug and we just got new sofas and we're trying to train her not to go on the sofas...We bought her a bed, and she lays and sleeps on it, but whenever someone sits on the sofa she wants to lay on their lap or cuddle next to them...Me and my dad think we should just be patient and eventually she'll learn, but my mom, brother, and sister think that we should buy a gate or something and put her bed either in the dining room or hallway...What do you think?
- it'll take alot of patience but I think gates are the lazy way out [my parents use to use them because they didn't have the patience to teach our dogs] Don't push your dog.. it'll only envoke her to think you're playing and thus she'll keep doing it. Instead, say 'no' or off the sofa or down or something like that.. Pick her up and put her down on the floor.. Keep doing this.. i know it's repetative and boring.. But you could use small dog biscuits to get her down than after a few days or weeks you give her less and less treats for getting off the sofa until you give her none. If this doesn't work there's many books and websites. Look around and you'll find a trick that'll work best for you. Edit: Make sure the whole family agrees to follow the new rules for your dog.. Have them written out or have everybody watch someone doing the actions so they understand clearly how to say and do them. If not it could hinder you're dogs progress... Since my parents have mood swings they didn't bother to help me [somedays they did others they did] train our dogs.. So the result is.. They will do things a certain way with me [listening, tricks, actions, etc etc] but with my parents they may only sit or lay down or simply do nothing because they aren't being consistant.

- WD-40 okorder /... The Fast Orange with Pumice works much better than the Fast Orange without Pumice. Do not use rubbing alcohol. It could burn your sofa. Plus it only removes ink from glossy surfaces. -
- Q: I've never heard of it before- but I would be more interested in dying the upholstery to the sofa if possible. I have a Hoover steam cleaner with and upholstery attachment that normally does a GREAT job, but this sofa is nearly white. With a mechanic for a husband and 4 cats, it just isn't working but the couch itself is in good shape and I can't afford to pay someone to reupholster it or buy a new one. I've also tried every cleaner possible, and even if there was something out there that would work the maintenance is just way to much to keep up with in my household!I already have spent quite a bit on several different sofa covers- nice name brand ones too, Unfortunately I really really don't like them because the shape of the sofa. None of them look right at ALL and ALL of them, even when they claim they shouldn't, just slip all over the place and look even worse!Does anyone know if there is a dye that I could use to darken up the entire sofa so stains won't look as bad
