Q:hi! we have a year old sofa whose chushions went down.now we if we want to pump up the cushions of the sofa how can we do that.can we get some fillups to the cushio? can anyone suggest where to get them....: Take out the foam that's inside the cushion and take it to a foam sales place (look up foam in your phone book) Many places will cut it the exact size of your current sofa cushion. Look for something thicker or ask them for advice on one that won't deflate as much. There might be a better quality foam that you can buy that retains its loft better.

Q:besides the huge price difference is there a different feel? Ive heard the look is so similar its hard to determine which is which but does one feel softer or more flexible than the other? My sister in law has a leather sofa that is kind of stiff, I want to avoid that if possible.: MY DuraBlend (or bonded leather) sofa from Ashley furniture started peeling after 1 yr. This is not covered under the warranty as it is considered wear and tear. Feels great and looks amazing but after just moderate use it has the potential to start peeling. It was even peeling in odd areas I would not recommend this material for sofas.

If your room isn't very big, I suggest staying away from darker colors. That way, it'd make your room look smaller. I'd also stay away from colors that are closer to your sofa set because they'd make your coffee table stand out such that pepople will only see the coffee table as soon as they enter the room. How about play with the colors of nature and choose something in the green family? Maybe something in the tea green or darker range? It'd kind of give off the nature and cool look. It'd also make your room seem bigger. Or, if you are going for bold, go for a rich, valvet-like red. Black, red and cream/white will almost always make a statement.

Q:I need to find a way for a couple of very expensive hand-me-down sofas to stop moving on the marble floor. They have small wheels and scoot around the room when you get up. The wheels are not very easy to remove and will change the sofa height!Anyone know of a solution?: First, if you just stop the wheels from rolling, the sofa will still move on the marble floor and scrape the floor. Here is what to do. First get some rubber casters to place under each leg, preferable ones with sides to it. This will protect the floor. Second, stop the wheel from rolling by taking some folded paper and stuffing it into the wheel at the top so it jams the wheel and it can't roll.
