Q:I bought an Air-O-Space Sofa but it keeps deflating. If I inflate it in five hours it deflates. It does not have any visible holes nor any holes that may allow the air to escape and I always keep it locked.Is it supposed to deflate after few hours? Is it a common problem? Is there a way to fix it?

The problem with inflatable furniture is that even a hole too small to see is going to allow enough air to escape over time to deflate your sofa. And since the hole could be anywhere, it's not going to be easy to find. If you could submerge the entire thing, you would be able to see air escaping, but that's not very practical. If it's still brand-new, you could try exchanging it for another one, but even then, it's only a matter of time before some seam weakens, or some small sharp object pokes a new hole.

Q:my sister is about to move into army married quarters and also expecting a baby so we are looking for a sofabed for her and her husband for christmas, however, all the reasonable priced sofabeds seems to have metal frames which aren't good with a baby in the house. does anyone know where i can look to find more suitable options?

ok. the best color that it will look againt will be a multicoloe beinge/white/tan/vanilla combonation/. it will give u an overall light flooring with all of the best shades. now if i were u i will go for a laminate floor. which after all will be about the same cost as the carpet. n will get it in a blunt color very liht tone to make the furniture pop. these floors r esier to clean, dont hold dust n such n will last a long time. ur furniture sounds very nice. it deerves a great floor. hope i helpeed n good luck!

Q:I have a few spots on my new sofa and was just wondering how to look after leather sofas?

Try scrubbing the stains with shaving cream. Then wipe with a clean wet cloth. Shaving cream is nothing but whipped soap that rinses off easily. The last thing you want to use on your sofa is overly sudsy soap. You'll never get the suds out. Any brand of shaving cream works, as long as it's the typical white foamy kind. The gels don't work. -

Q:I just bought new house but I am only moving in next month. The place that I am renting at the moment is already furnished so that means that I will have to start buying new furniture now. But now I want to know what is the difference between the contemporary microfiber sofas and the traditional microfiber sofas?My reason for asking is that I was in a conversation about this the other day and no one seemed to know the answer.

Contemporary or traditional is referring to the style of the sofa, and not the fabric it is covered in. You just need to pick the style you prefer.

Q:How can I remove candle wax from a microfiber sofa?

Not sure about microfiber, but I dumped a candle on the carpet one time. Use a brown paper grocery bag(works better than a paper towel or napkin) and iron it with a clothes iron(no steam) over the spot. Might need a few bags depending on the size of the spot. It worked like a charm for me. It did take awhile and had to flip the bag around a bunch but be patient and it should come out.

Q:I had to choose a neutral colour for walls in the livingroom (well the only room since it's a small apartment) and I didn't want white or light grey so I chose beige. I just hate the fact beige is so light and kinda boring. What colors go with beige with the decorating, what colour sofa and paintings? I'm thinking about pinkyish flowers and ornaments but I can't make it all pinky even if I wanted to;) I want it to be really cute and not use too many colours.. What colours would be good with light pink, pink, beige and light brown (a hint darker than beige) laminte floors? 10 points for sure! Thank you :)

You okorder /. For the curtains or blinds, I would stay in the same color family as the walls. The reason for all the beige is to create a backdrop for the colors you want to add. Also keeping the walls, flooring and sofa neutral, you can easily change the whole look of the room whenever you like by just switching out the pillows and rug, and changing one or two pics in the room. Q:Hi, We are planning to buy a new set of leather sofas. It would be a 3 seater and two single seater sofas. Kindly let me know your suggestions and idaes as to which color we can go for. Our woodwork (showcase and the T.V unit) is very very dark brown. Our walls and flooring is half white (i.e. not pure white...but creamish in color). We are planning to paint our walls in light yellow after1 year. So kindly suggest a color that for our sofas which would go well with half white and later with light yellow colored walls and as well as the dark wood work done in the living room.RegardsSangeetha

I would say Cream or Tan . However, if you have children or pets - you might also want to get a cover for the couch for everyday use. Because a light color will show the dirt. You can always remove the cover when guests arrive.

Q:I am looking at getting a reclining sofa and maybe love seat. any comments on their quality from experience?

Yep - I had a Flexsteel sofa from the 70's. I just got rid of it about 4 years ago - not because it went to hell, but the color was just so out of style and I couldn't stand looking at it anymore! (gold and green) Flexsteel is not the top of the line, but I have to admit - It went through 2 kids and 6 pets and it lasted.
