- Sounds like you have a problem. Call the store you ordered from and explain the situation right away, maybe they have a smaller simmilar sofa or will cancel the order as I'm sure they don't want delivery men spending a lot of time trying to push a sofa through a door and returning same to them.

- Go leather and buy something that is not heavy. Natuzzi is usually the best in class and is usually reasonably affordable. Beware of bicast leather which is low quality leather.

- Hi You will need to do a test on the fabric to see if you can clean it. Be careful with what product you uses. I would use “Nature's Miracle” this is a liquid containing enzymes that feed on the organisms that give urine its odours. You can buy it at Petsmart. First you will need to do is a test. To do the test spray the cleaner, using the back edge of the cushion spray a spot about the size of a quarter and wipe it with a white towel and let it dry on it’s own. If you get colour transfer onto the towel it is not safe to clean. If there is no change in colour and no watermark then it is safe to clean or spot clean. If there is a watermark but no colour change it is safe to clean only thing is you will need to clean the whole thing. (to stop watermarks) you can not spot clean. If you decide to clean it DO NOT do a lot of scrubbing on the fabric because you can cause damage to the fabric. If you decide to spot clean only you can use a hair dryer to speed up the drying (less chance of leaving a watermark). If you clean the whole sofa you are probably best to set up a fan to help dry the sofa. Hope this helps Carpet cleaner for 14 years

- Yep - I had a Flexsteel sofa from the 70's. I just got rid of it about 4 years ago - not because it went to hell, but the color was just so out of style and I couldn't stand looking at it anymore! (gold and green) Flexsteel is not the top of the line, but I have to admit - It went through 2 kids and 6 pets and it lasted.
- Q: ok I have one of those imitation micro fiber sofas, and I have a problem.. My hubby insist that it is ok for our 300 lb. English Mastiff to get up on the couch... it drived me insane but I try to ignore it... however now, there are 2 tears in the fabric.. they are L shaped, (almost like a box knife caused it) and are only about an inch in length.. the fabric still meets together if you know what I mean (there isn't a hole, only a tear). My husband won't listen and insists that it is not from the dog, but I do know better.... Anyhow my question is how do I try and repair this without it being too noticable... - You will NEVER match the leather, so don't even consider that remedy. However, HM is a very good quality sofa, so I would highly consider having the seat back cushions reupholstered in a rich tapestry fabric. The look is very fashionable the cost will be RELATIVELY minimal. Call the best upholsterer you can afford cause this will be a worthwhile investment.
