- Q:I have a small room and wanna get a fold up bed can you tell me which one is best and why!? I would be using it everyday
- Futon's are not comfortable... I know from experience especially if you plan on using it everyday after a short while... ouch on your back. Hide-a-bed... hmmmm. Ugly looking I think. I like sofa beds. Multi purpose. Your sheets and duvet hide-a-way and when you have guests they just can't see all your bedding business. Definately sofa bed!

- First of all, from the material is divided into true rattan and imitation rattan, Mado is natural plant rattan, basically rely on imports, the price is expensive, imitation rattan generally refers to PE, imitation rattan, polyethylene, polymer, relatively cheap a lot.
- Q:A sticker was stuck to my microfiber/suede (? - not sure which type of fabric it is) sofa and left a sticky residue on it. How can I remove the stickiness?
- I had sticky residue on a wood effect floor, and was worried about using anything other than water on it. I used baby oil, and it worked a treat. A tiny drop on a kitchen towel, and the residue came off easily. I then just wiped over the floor with a damp cloth. Try it on a bit of leather at the back first though to make sure that it won't damage the leather.
- Q:We own storage units and when someone doesn't pay - they're stuff is gotten rid of....however, this time, there is a pretty decent leather set but the sofa is severely worn and stained. I was wanting to try to clean it up....any suggestions would be helpful! Thanks!!
- Good leather cleaners are available at both saddle shops and stores where there are a lot of shoe maintenance supplies (like a drugstore). It might be cheaper to find a saddle supply (My thinking is: saddles are bigger than shoes so the container amounts might be larger). Usually you start with a saddle soap or leather cleaner and work it in with clean rags and wipe off the excess, then you use some kind of conditioner like mink oil, which is also a paste that you work in and helps protect the leather from moisture, keeps it from getting brittle, and gives it a nice luster. If the cleaner doesn't take care of the stains you might try dye... carefully!... before you apply the mink oil. I saw in a magazine once that a guy dumpster dived two leather sofas. They were red when he got them and the leather was in poor condition, so he took extra fine steel wool and black Rit dye and worked the dye into the leather with the steel wool, wiped off the excess, and then put mink oil over that. The sofas were gorgeous! They looked like new, $5000 sofas! At least! But if you try this, i would explore more carefully and perhaps do a test spot with very diluted dye and some place on the sofa that won't show as much like the lower back. good luck!
- Q:how many adults may sleep in a sofa bed? just 1 or 2 ( if they are pretending to use it as a daily bed)?
- For many years I had a really nice (thick mattress) Queen size sleeper sofa. I had house guests frequently use it and they never complained about bars in their back or any discomfort. For about a week I had three house guests share the bed quite comfortably. I think three adults can sleep comfortably in a queen size mattress. Any more would be a serious problem, especially if any of the adults are, um, heavy. Hope this helps.

- I use woollite (dilute) and warm water on my car leather. use a non-abrasive cloth to wash the leather. follow with a dry, non-abrasive cloth to dry. test in an inconspicuous location first though to make sure the substances don't change the color too dramatically.

- A okorder . Click on Home, Cleaning, Articles. Scroll down to How to Clean a Leather Sofa. Please do not use saddle soap or any waxes to clean your leather. They will leave a residue that will change your color eventually. There are specific leather conditioners that you can buy to keep your leather supple, but they are not for cleaning either, just conditioning.

- It could be a spray that they use to keep the fabric fresh and to keep the damp out. I had it with mine and it faded away after a few weeks. Your sofa has probably been wrapped up for a while and thats why it needs a good airing. You could spray febreeze, it wont do it any harm.
