- Q: Recently, I purchased two power tools from Craftsman - a 19.2v 1/2drill/driver and a 4.56A angle grinder that look exactly like ones sold by Porter Cable. I don't have links for the drills, but compare pictures of the two grinders below. Other than part of the plastic housing being a different color, you can clearly see that it's the exact same tool.
- Craftsman power tools are all made by someone else; Craftsman just puts their name on it. This is not uncommon in the tool business. Most Craftsman power tools are made by TTI based in Hong Kong, the same company that makes many Ryobi, Rigid, Taskforce, Rockwell, and Makita power tools. Porter Cable is a subsidiary of Stanley Black Decker which also owns DeWalt. In this case, I'd say Porter Cable makes the grinder and Craftsman sells a version of it.
- Q: There have been severe storms in my country Kenya and power lines have fallen and caused a lot of injuries, some fatal to pedestrians, motorists and others.I am sure if power lines were covered with rubber sheathing or some other apopropriatde material, there would be less likelihood of electrocution, serious injury, fire or property damage. - Q: how do i install the power cord on the 8600 gts. Is just attaching one of the two receivers on the cord to the graphics card and the other end plug in one to a power thing the right way.
- Some specialized power supplies have the power cable built-in and you can plug that directly into the card. If you don't have one of these, then the card probably came with a cable that requires you to plug in two 4-pin power cables (same type that plugs into your CD drive off your power supply) and then the other 6-pin end snaps into your video card.

- Q: So i left my xbox on over night (i know i know) and during the night there was either a power outage or surge, cuz all the electronic clocks had been reset. So i went to my xbox, and the light on the power cable box was red and my xbox wouldnt turn on. I havent tried unplugging it yet cuz the wires are behind my tv and a pain in the *** to get to, but i have a feeling this wont help.do i need to get it repaired?
- Disconnect everything except for the wires behind tv and also remove xbox 360 hard drive and insert back Connect everything back in place. The problem should be fixed If problem still keeps happening then its a sign of getting a new power adapter(cable box) For any more questions about xbox 360 feel free to ask
- Q: I removed the seats to my 2002 Dodge Intrepid SE and noticed that there was a small cable sticking out from the carpet underneath the seats. Since I have the SE model my car didn't come with the power seats. My question is are those cables there to attach the power seats?
- Maybe - but there are other cables that go to car seats. Some cars have heated seats (bun warmers, I call them). Many newer cars have a pressure switch in the front passenger seat to deactivate the passenger side air bag if the seat is empty.
- Q: i wanna know how much distance should be in between the power cable and the cat5 cable
- it could be ok at a few inches however i personally had experience where it had to be a few feet but only with power going to a florecent light... whenever light was turned on i lost net yet cat5 could be run right next to light itself or other power lines no problem.. fyi, no one could figure it out, even qwest dsl service people ( 3 in all) - ended up having to be 3 feet from just that certain power line
