You are asking for a lot but I have seen you request this a number of times, so I will do it...a sucker born. 1. Valley fold the paper in half so it makes a triangle. With the long side held away from you, valley fold the triangle in half again. 2. Lift the top triangle and valley fold it so that its top point meets its bottom point. Unfold the crease you have just made. Put your fingers inside the top triangle, open it up, and flatten it so it forms a square. Turn the paper over and fold and flatten the remaining triangle in the same way. 3. Make sure that the open ends of the paper are pointing down. Valley fold the top layer of both sides in to meet the centre crease. You will now have a kite shape. 4. Valley fold the top point of the kite down and crease well. Unfold the crease you have just made. 5. Open the sides of the kite by unfolding the flaps you made in Step 3. Lift the top layer of the kite's bottom point up so the paper bends at the crease you made in Step 4. Push the outside edges of the paper in to meet the centre line. Then flatten the figure so that you have a long diamond shape. 6. Turn the figure over and fold a kite shape on the remaining side as in Step 3. Repeat Steps 4 and 5 on this side. You will now have a two-sided long diamond. The bottom half of the diamond is split in two. 7. Valley fold the top layer of both bottom edges in to meet in the middle. Turn the figure over and repeat on the other side. 8. To make the crane's neck and tail, valley fold each half of the bottom section out to the sides. Crease well. 9. Unfold the right crease you just made and make an inside reverse fold. Repeat this step on the left side. 10.To form the head, fold down the end of the neck. Unfold this crease and inside reverse fold the head. 11.Hold one of the crane's wings in each hand. Blow hard into the opening on the underside of the figure and gently separate your hands. You crane will puff up and be ready to hang.

They started to go by the wayside in the early 80's around here, though they were still in use until technology caught up and they could manufacture a 200 ton capacity crane for use on the highways. They had Hi-rail equipment and could get to the scene of a derailment much quicker than the old steam derricks. Near the end, I know there were at least 5 still operating, but the problem was, there were only two guys on the system that could run one of the things. Steam is the key word. We're all used to seeing crane operators running the machine from their little cab and moving the levers that control the hydraulics. But, it was amazing to see a guy run one of the Bucyrus Erie 200 ton derricks. All the functions were controlled by various valves that were scattered around the operators position, and it was like watching some kind of choreography; ballet, even. The sights, smells and sounds of the thing in action were no less eye catching than watching the operator himself.

It is also pronounced Yong Chun White Crane Fist and from it is where Wing Chun derives its Fajing technique known as 1 inch punch. The 5 Ancestor style is Ngo Cho Kuen or Wu Zu Quan, again - dialectal differences. It is also a Fukienese Art. Wing Chun, a Southern Shaolin Style is NOT related in ANY way to Hsing I Chuan, which is of Wu Tang/Taoist origin. Goju Ryu has some White Crane Influence but is derived from the Hakka Arts like Southern Mantis, Bak Mei and the like. Tiger Crane and White Crane are not related. The crane in the Hung Family Boxing is more the Tibetan White Crane and not the Fujian Crane. There is a mix up in the history which makes it a bit complicated. Gee Sim was from the Northern Shaolin School and went south to the Fukien temple to escape the Ching. He taught there, met Hung Hei Koon and taught him Tiger Fist. Gee Sim and Hung also left Fukien because of the Ching and went to Guandong and there is where Hung Fist developed into what it is today. The White Crane Fist of Fujian/Fukien came from the 18 Lohan Style Fang Chi Niang learned from her Father, who was a student at the Fukien temple, and mimicry of Crane movements. These styles, Crane and Hung were being developed around the same time but hundreds of miles apart. It is known that Wong Fei Hung trained in Lama Pai aka Tibetan Crane and also he is credited with creating the Tiger Crane Form aka Fu Hok. I hope this helps.
