Q:What are the components of a tower crane? What are its main technical parameters? What is lifting torque?
Part: foundation, tower, wall unit, excessive section, lifting mechanism, rotating mechanism, lifting mechanism, the lifting arm, a balance arm, electrical control, safety protection device etc..Main technical parameters: maximum lifting weight, amplitude and maximum amplitudeLifting torque = magnitude X maximum amplitude lifting
Q:Did not city officials think of the danger if they toppled.
My friend, that is a good question that only the developer will have to answer to. To the City that is. The crane operator and all other parties in charge of the project will get fined by the City. In addition, they may be lawsuits. Good luck
Q:in the Open Boat by Stephen Crane, in part IV why are the characters not identified?
The characters are defined by their roles on the boat. Their previous experiences or personalities don't matter here. It is just the narrow repetitive experience of rowing and how they each contribute to it. Each character is Everyman, being thrown around by the merciless, indifferent hand of Fate. I think that Crane was squarely in the company of Naturalists (they think there's no such thing as individual agency, like Darwinism in fiction). The interesting thing to think about here is that one character has a name - Billie, the oiler. Why is this? He's the strongest, he's the most experienced and he's the one that dies. He's an individual to the reader but Fate doesn't care. I'm sure you can flesh the ideas out now.
Q:How do they erect HUGE cranes without a crane?
The really huge cranes with the boom that goes straight out at a right angle to the upright section (which goes straight up) is called a tower crane. They're assembled by using a jack assembly at the bottom, so that more sections are stuck in at the ground level.
Q:I saw this documentary on ancient buildings like the pyramids and it said that we don't have a construction crane that can life the stones used to build some of these ancient structures. So I gotta wonder how much the strongest crane CAN lift....or is that just fantastical nonsense about cranes not being able to lift those blocks?
Those stones are small compared to what cranes can lift. I did find this Liebherr the heavy equipment company have developed a new all terrain nine axle mobile crane that is the worlds most powerful. The Liebherr LTM 11200-9.1 has a maximum lifting capacity of 1,200 tons with its powerful 100 metre (328 ft) telescopic boom. another: Deira City Centre was the crane’s first lift as it assisted in completing the work in less than 30 hours in what would have otherwise taken an approximate 20 days. The monster machine can lift up to 1,200 tonnes and cover an area over 100m wide. The operational weight is 96 tonnes and the total counterweight is 202 tonnes. Average weight of the stones in the Great pyramid is 2.5 tonnes. So either of those cranes could lift over 400 of these at once.

Q:Ok so I am now on my laptop in my room, in my bed and I am bursting for the loo, like really bad. I knew before I went to bed there was a crane fly in the hall (outside my room), so I made sure I went to the loo before I went to bed. But me being me I need it again but i have phobia of those dreaded crane flys. I went out and put the light on making sure 2 close the bedroom door, and then it started to fly towards me so I ran back to my room. I need help cause I don't know what to do?I am petrified of them. My fiance would normally move it for me but he is on night shift tonight. The last time this happend I stayed up all night and went to the loo at 7 am when my daughter got up, I don't want to do that again considering it is only 1:44 am over here
No dude, youre confusing two different species. Daddy long legs- or Harvestmen, as they're known in the UK- are the ones with powerful venom, but fangs too short to bite a human being. Crane flies, which look kind of like a flying daddy long legs, are a species that feed one nectar only. They are not carnivorous, and they don't have fangs, or a stinger, or any other means to defend themselves. The females have a tool on their abdomens for depositing eggs. It looks kind of like a stinger, but it is not one, and can do no harm at all.Daddy long legs-spiders can not fly. Crane flies don't even live long enough to eat. Most of the species of crane flies live long enough to mate, and nothing more. Theres is no reason to fear either species. Oh, and they don't eat mosquitos. That's a myth.
Q:What should the sub contractor do before the installation of the bridge crane in the workshop?
Baidu search [tower crane tower demolition, lowering section safety technical disclosure]. If it is installed, remove the "two words" to "installation", and other contents are adjusted slightly.
Q:i'm doing it for fun but i was wondering because my aunt had a baby that like 1 and the baby has cancer and i'm gonna try this to help her please don't be mean like the only thing you will get is sore hands and stuff is it true or is it a myth only answer if you did thid and i want to know what happened to you but anyway ill pray to god that everything will be ok with the baby
I wish that were so but God only acts according to HIS will. Not your will but thy will be done, it doesn't hurt to ask and hope that he will grant you with what you desire but don't be disappointed when it doesn't happen. And remember, just because it does not happen doesn't mean that he didn't listen. We do not know what God has in store for us until it happens, but that's what we call faith. Trust in HIM and you shall receive, even though it might not be what you want God is righteous and you may expect a better outcome than what you have expected.
Q:Old used 200 t crawler crane is available for purchase. What are the guidelines/ thumb rules for assessing its cost ?
Supply vs demand Extreme examples: If the crane is no longer needed anywhere, the cost will be 0; no demand. If the crane still has a unique useable function and there is only one available, it's immediate cost will be very high; no supply. So, assuming that the cranes supply/demand is somewhere in the middle, the methodology for assessing it's cost would be to evaluate the following: * Where is it located with respect to where it is needed? (place value) * How quickly do I need it, and how quickly can I get the crane? (time value) * What alternative solutions are available? * How much do other similar cranes cost? * etc Hope this helps!
