Q:Museum of the floor is not false
Museum of the floor is rubbish floor, the opposite are wormhole, sales staff fraud, said a good board did not, can not change the good goods. So do not buy it.
Q:I have a lot of online, said there are manufacturers to install, so if the future if the problem, it will not happen wrangling things, manufacturers said the decoration is not good, the decoration company said the floor is not good but my dad asked the decoration team Of the understanding, they said the best decoration company equipment, or manufacturers installed the floor when people will encounter next to the wall or something, the two sides will be quarreled, what is necessary to break the money plus repair. The The Home decoration with solid wood flooring friends you who are installed? (By the way, sell the floor manufacturers have to sell the keel on it) more
1, in accordance with the custom of the decoration, the wooden floor is installed by the business (manufacturers), the saying goes: who's who install things 2, wood floor prices, if not separately described, include installation costs, including keel, moisture film, Nails, floor receipts and other costs, these are businesses and flooring provided together. 3, but one thing to note: the baseboard to be purchased separately, but you can ask to install the floor together with the baseboard installed
Q:I have old pergo floors in the dining and kitchen area and tile everywhere else in the house. How hard is it to remove both types of floors and how do I go about removing each? I want to put down real hardwoods and carpet in the bedrooms. Also, new tile in kitchen and bathrooms.
If your new floor will go on top of the old floor, you'll need to trim the bottom of the doorjambs (figure A) so you can slide the new floor underneath. To cut the jambs, take a scrap piece of your underlayment and tile, place them on top of each other to show the correct height, and cut the doorjamb with a jamb saw. Remove the appliances and furniture from the room and then carefully remove the shoe mold with a hammer and pry-bar. If your molding is in good condition you can replace it after you have installed the new floor. Remove any transition strips from the area where you'll be installing the vinyl tiles. * If you are planning on reusing your old shoe mold it is a good idea to number each piece consecutively on the back so that when you get ready to replace it the process will go much quicker. To determine the square footage of the area you're tiling, multiply the length and width. If the room has an irregular shape, you may want to get the square footage of different sections of the room and then add those numbers together. Add 10 percent to your total to allow for mistakes and waste. When you've finished measuring, you can begin attaching your underlayment (figure B). Make sure to install it rough-side down so that the wood texture doesn't show through the new vinyl. Attach the underlayment with staples, stapling as indicated on the underlayment material. If you are using unmarked plywood, you should nail or staple at least every 5 to 6 inches in the middle of the plywood and every 3 inches along the edges.
Q:Is dance flooring that plastic floor stuff, linoleum??Is it the same thing, or something else?Because I want to buy some cheap floor that is suitable for dancing on, maybe even the same as the ones they have in dance studios.Do you know:a) What dance floor is?b) Can you buy it cheap?c) Is there any flooring similar?d) Where can you buy them from?Thank you xx
Linoleum Dance Floor
Q:I have a newly constructed basement (less than a year) which is being used for wine storage. Its too humid. I am adding ventilation and have treated the floor with a moisture barrier. Now I want to paint the floor.
I Have Painted shop floors with the wrong paint enough times that now I KNOW. Use Rustoleum floor paint 2 part epoxy. Preparation is a must. Pressure wash the floor. then etch it with muriatic acid then wash it again. (Vacuum it up with a wet dry vac)Next you need to dry it I used a portable salamander heater with a piece of flashing to deflect the heat down. When you are 100% sure it is dry paint itwhile the floor is warm. I used this method on a shop floor the only way paint comes up is with the concrete attached. Every other thing anyone has ever sold me or told Pealed up.
Q:Anxious
Ingredients to understand the summer rub the alcohol on the skin will have a cool feeling, the same token! You can try to first use the floor wax and dry wipes wiping sprinkle sprinkle the place where the alcohol, and then clean with Bili beads on the OK! Hope to adopt!
Q:I just purchased some floor tiles that are suppose to be easy to install. All the direction say you have to do is just attach them to your floor (it sticks on one side) but they won't stick to my floor! (on my bathroom floor, they already have tiny cement tiles on them, nonremovable) i really dont want to take them back, but i need some advice on what i can use to make them work on my bathroom floor, because i hate the tiling thats already there, could someone please help. Mature, helpful answers only, thank you! :)
The floor you are going to place the stickable tiles must be flat with a dust free surface. It is virtually imposible to put sticky tiles over ceramic tiles because of the valleys between the tiles. Here are some options. You would either need to remove the existing tiles, its a tough but necessary evil. Then smooth out the floor underneath. Another option would be to fill in the gaps between the ceramic tiles to make the whole floor flat. Smooth out or sand what you put down to ensure flatness. If you sand, wipe the floor with a damp rag than vaccuum thoroughly. The only other problem I can see is if you have rough surfaces on the existing ceramic tiles. Self sticking tiles will not stick to them. If this is the case, you can get a surface coating from any building material/flooring store to cover the floor. The sticky tiles will stick to that. Hope this helps and Best of Luck!
Q:What brand floor did you go with? Are you satisfied with your floor? Most importantly for me is, how does your floor withstand spills, frequent mopping, & pet accidents?I want to install a floating vinyl-plank floor which has a natural wood look and feel, yet can withstand the abuse only a young puppy can provide.
No, I wouldn't install vinyl flooring outside. Besides being expensive once you calculate the cost of the vinyl and adhesive, if it gets wet it will be EXTREMELY slippery and you could ultimately be opening yourself up to lawsuits if anyone is hurt (just think of how many people might be walking on it while looking at your house)....OR you or a family member could end up being badly hurt... And as others have mentioned, the vinyl will crack, fade and look really nasty in a short amount of time and removing vinyl adhesive from concrete is NOT a fun job, and because vinyl doesn't belong outdoors, you don't want possible home buyers deducting $$ because they are calculating how long it will take to remove, or if they will have to replace the patio because of the vinyl. Since you're selling the house, use a powerwasher and get as much of the paint off as you can, then go to Lowe's or Home Depot and for less than 20.00, buy a gallon of concrete paint. Not exterior paint, or paint made for porches, or left over interior paint...You want concrete paint. It comes in lots of colors, is designed to bond with concrete and when you paint, make sure it's a neutral color or something that coordinates with the house. If you're feeling especially creative, you can faux paint slate etc., but personally, I would just paint the patio one color and let it go at that. Hope this is helpful
Q:Strengthen the floor release standard
GB is the E1 standard environmental standard formaldehyde emission is less than 1.5 mg
Q:I have sub-floors in my condo and want to put in a hardwood floor and replace the interior doors. Should I install the new doors first before the new floor, or, the floors first then the doors? Thanks, M
YOU MUST install the floors before the doors., BUT!!! if you are replacing the casing and door jams as well as the doors, you will need to install the jam (door frame) first. A) door frame B)flooring c) casing 4) door Doors come in standard sizes. And the new floor will lower the clearance distance in the original doorway. you would need to recut the new frame to fit. When you go to install the doors you should allow aprox 1/2 clearance to allow for air circulation etc. Most of the time you can cut or sand the door at the bottom to achieve this. If you are putting new doors into the old doorway, make sure the hinges will line up and the doors thickness will work in that frame. I am a carpenter, If you have any more questions or need advice feel free to email me. another reason the frame is first is so it doesn't sit on the floor, Hardwood floors expand and contract, this could cause the frame to move and the door may, scrape, stick etc.
