In order to meet that specification, and because the yard tends to be flat or uphill, I need to basically drain directly where the pipe comes out of my house. My gutter is also in that immediate area.I have an idea of how I want to drain both the gutter and sump pump that will eliminate concerns of ground erosion and avoid the accumulation of water in that immediate area, but I am looking for opinions.I plan to get a water deflector that directs the water 45 degrees opposed to one specificed direction. Then I plan to dig out an area around this spot that is maybe a foot deep and maybe a couple feet wide, put in erosion fabric, and backfill with rock. Is this my best option.I have no where to run a corrigated pipe and no down hill access

As long as your trench runs downhill and ends where the water will not end up back at the house then that sounds good. Careful not to dump it on your neighbor. Try to run it to the street. Use cobble stones over the fabric. If your are in arid climate try to use it to water any vegetation.

Q:I have a Shih Tzu who's a little over a year old now and he's extremely athletic, no health problems, he's up to date on everything, but he's losing weight to the point where I can feel his hip bones, not a lot but I can tell. I live on a farm so he chases the goats and rides the excavator, four wheeler, etc. He runs all day is my point, and he runs so much that it's becoming difficult to keep his weight up with his normal dog food. I use pedigree for adults if that helps. Now I've been mixing an egg in with it because he seems to not want to eat a lot. He will, but not much. He eats whatever else there is though, so I'm pretty sure he's just sick of the normal food he gets. Is there anything I can mix up for him that's healthy and will still keep his weight up? I would suggest you change the pedigree to a better quality brand of food if you want to feed kibble, or feed BARF...tripe will put weight on, however he is a young dog and only now will start to 'fill out' and mature.

Thats a few questions.... 1) kilo=1000, 5.8kg=5800g. 2) volume=1/2(LengthxWidthxHeight) s.a. = well... there are 3 rectangles... so find the area of those rectangles (LengthxWidth). There are also 2 triangles, so find the area of those (1/2xBasexHeight). Then add all those together! 3) a) Just multiply the three numbers together: 700ftx200ftx85ft=11,900,000ft^3. b)The average amount of garbage deposited in a period of time. c) (I'm in Canada and on the metric system so I can't be too sure about this one, but the internet says there are 9 cubic ft in 1 cubic yard...) Earthwatch and Crow Canyon are both organizations that sponsor archaeology sites where people can pay to participate. But most sites are off limits to the public because they might be damaged or destroyed by untrained people messing with them or stealing items. It is actually against Federal law in the US and many other countries to vandalize or steal from established archaeology sites on public lands.
