- Start with Leg extensions and move onto Leg curls. When you do Leg extentions hold it for 2 seconds, this will give you the burn effect. If u are doing Leg curls u will need a spotter just to help you squeeze out your reps... Do leg presses or squats afterwards as this is a power exercise for your thighs...
- Q: Hello, I've been working a lot on bench pressing since the fall. I am a freshman in high school and weigh 145 and am 5'11. Currently my max flat bench press is 150. How many pounds should it go up per week if im working every other day? any tips on how much i should be doing/ increasing for the most benefit? Thanks
- What you should do, is, do your normal workout... Aim for 2 more reps on your last set, but just do as many as you can. If you get them, then go up 5 lbs. total on that workout for the next week. Someone who weighs 145 lbs should be benching around 200. I weigh 140 and bench 230. In my lifting federation, the world record for high schoolers is 259 lbs. Another tip: Try doing pause reps. Touch your chest, hold it on your chest for 1-3 seconds, then press up. Do this on every rep. You don't have to pause on your last set, but if you don't go up, try doing this the next week. I have 3 bench press programs. If you want one of them, talk to me about it. And I do know what Im talking about, I hold the world record bench press at the 132 lb class. The record is 211 lbs.

- No, though the French press will make excellent brewed coffee, nothing is like an espresso maker. My preference is for a real one that accepts ground coffee, and eventually also soft coffee pods from any brand, not the Lavazza or Nespresso types that don't give you the choice. Ah, and of course, the best is to buy (roasted) coffee beans and to grind them yourself (using a coffee and/or spice grinder) I have a DéLonghi espresso maker, quite basic and not expensive (~80 $). Very convenient and great coffee! Enjoy!
- Q: I have La Femme Hollywood pressed powder and Aveda free powder. One uses a sponge like material and the other a brush. Which looks more natural? I don't want it to look like I'm wearing lots of makeup. BTW- How do I know what's agood brush? DO I buy one of those big ones for the powder or a small one?
- Pressed powder is usually applyed with a poder puff thing, and will apply thickly but will last longer than loose powder. Its less likely to spill and will be easier to apply. Loose powder can go everywhere. It looks more natural and is thinner when applyed with a kabuki powder brush or a blush brush. They both have good points and bad points, so its whichever you like the best.
- Q: want to get a progressive press, on a right budget and need to get it right the first time. what do you guys use and what would you recommend for me? my budget is $300, and need to be able ot load a wide variety of calibers- from pistol to magnum rifle, such as 9mm, 38 special, 45, 40, 10mm, 500 SW Magnum, 357/38, 44mag/44, 30-40, 45-70, .223, 308, 7.62x54r, 32 acp, 7.62x38r, 30 carbine, 5.7x28, and so on. I've looked at the lee pro 1000 and lee load master, they look good and price is great but not able to (and cheaply) able ot load a wide variety of calibers, which is a big problem. i want ot know whats a good progressive press that can also load just as many calibers as my single stage press can?
- Listen to Hamish, you can't go wrong with the lee classic turret. I can literally load more amunition than I can shoot. It is an enormous upgrade from a single stage and everyone I know always thinks they need a progressive but end up wishing they had gotten something more foolproof. With the lee you can keep your caliber dies set up on a wheel, and it lifts out to let you change calibers without having to undo any settings. Plus the turret is going to be more forgiving with things like powder through dies working with it for .223. Go with the four station and add a crimping die. You'll find you get into a rhythm with it pretty quickly, you push up to deprime, put in a primer and pull down to seat, push up to charge, pull down to clear, set the bullet and push up to seat, then a quick down and up to crimp, no time at all. And spend the extra money to get carbide dies.

- I have had a few of these calls. I suspect it is a scam and I am certainly not going to take a chance on it. A while back there was a scam going round where you had to press '9' on your phone and you were then charged a premium rate to receive the message. I hang up on all unsolicited calls with no exception. Occasionally I put the phone down and leave the automated message to run it's course in the hope that I am running up someones phone bill.
