Description of excavator:

Engines in hydraulic excavators usually just drive hydraulic pumps; there are usually 3 pumps: the two main pumps are for supplying oil at high pressure (up to 5000 psi) for the arms, swing motor, track motors, and accessories, and the third is a lower pressure (700 psi) pump for Pilot Control, this circuit used for the control of the spool valves, this allows for a reduced effort required when operating the controls.

The two main sections of an excavator are the undercarriage and the house. The undercarriage includes the blade (if fitted), tracks, track frame, and final drives, which have a hydraulic motor and gearing providing the drive to the individual tracks, and the house includes the operator cab, counterweight, engine, fuel and hydraulic oil tanks. The house attaches to the undercarriage by way of a center pin. High pressure oil is supplied to the tracks' hydraulic motors through a hydraulic swivel at the axis of the pin, allowing the machine to slew 360° unhindered.

The main boom attaches to the house, and can be one of several different configurations:

Most are mono booms: these have no movement apart from straight up and down.

Some others have a knuckle boom which can also move left and right in line with the machine.

Another option is a hinge at the base of the boom allowing it to hydraulically pivot up to 180° independent to the house; however, this is generally available only to compact excavators.

There are also triple-articulated booms (TAB).

FAQ of excavator:

Q: What are the main functions of excavators?

A: Excavator is the machine that can excavate the the soil of various types forcefully and then using hydraulic system a hydraulic force is generated and utilizing this force bucket is exchange with some other attachments then excavator can be used for multi-purpose. For exemple pile diver, hydraulic jack hammer etc...

Q: What are the main type of excavators?

A: Crawler excavator; Wheel excavator;

Q: What is the application of excavators?

A: The excavator has increased the work speed tremendously. It is used extensively in numerous fields, including the following:

•Wood removal in forests

•Normal grading work and landscaping

•Cutting of brushes with attachments

•Demolition of structures, and removal of debris

Q:why dose it take archaeologist many years to excavate a site?
Basically they have to work by hand. Going into a site, they do not know exactly where the artifacts will be...how deep, how close together etc. Also, the objects they seek can be very small. Using mechanical tools (excavators for example) can damage or destroy artifacts. They also want to map the locations of things they find, to see if there is a pattern...for example, finding a fire remnant and bones that show charring might indicate a kitchen given one pattern, or a massacre site given another. The closer they get to an object, the smaller the brush and the more delicate the handwork. There are other issues...the deeper one digs, the more you have to shore up the sides or widen them to avoid cave-ins...there are safety concerns. Also, most sites are not wasteland and they are tying them up from other uses, so permissions and agreements have to be obtained and kept. Many interesting sites have people living over them at the surface who would not appreciate having their house or business collapse because of an overzealous dig.
Q:1: Which of the following is the number of grams in 5.8 kilograms?2: How do you find the volume and surface area of a triangular prism?3: The city of Rubberville plans to dig a rectangular landfill. The landfill will have a base with dimensions 700 ft by 200 ft and a depth of 85 ft. a. How many cubic feet of garbage will the landfill hold?b. What information would you need to determine how long the landfill can be used until it is full? (Don't really need to answer...this is easy.)c. An excavator was hired to dig the hole for the landfill. How many cubic yards of dirt will he have to haul away?
1. 5800 2. v=bh, sa= area of all sides 3. a. 11,900,000 c. about 3,966,666
Q:I need to dig a trench about 180ft long, 3ft deep, and about 2-3ft wide. I want to get it done in one day, but if I really need to, I could add an extra day. What sized excavator should I rent do get this job done? I would prefer if you point me to a certain excavator and then I could rent the one that most closely matches it. Thank you!
You're only talking about 60cubic yards of material; you don't need an extremely large excavator for that amount. Even a small, tire-mounted backhoe should be able to easily handle that amount unless it is hard-packed clay, stone or oyster shell. I'm not talking about a terra-mite (a lawn mower with a backhoe attachment) but a decent sized John Deere, Case, Ford or Kubota with a backhoe. Of course, you can go all out and rent a smaller tracked excavator but there really isn't any reason to spend the extra money unless you just want to. They will make the work go quicker but the added expense is, in my opinion, not justified by the time saved. Good luck and enjoy!
Q:What is the structure of the excavator?
Excavator structure structure: the common excavator structure includes power device, work device, slewing mechanism, control mechanism, transmission mechanism, walking mechanism and auxiliary facilities, etc.. In appearance, the excavator consists of three parts: the working device, the upper rotating platform and the walking mechanism. According to its structure and use, can be classified as: track, tire, walking, full hydraulic, semi hydraulic, full rotation, non full rotation, universal, special type, articulated, telescopic arm and other types. A work device is a device that performs the task of digging directly. The utility model is hinged by three parts, such as an arm, a bucket rod, a bucket, etc.. Boom, landing, bucket expansion and bucket rotation are controlled by reciprocating double acting hydraulic cylinders. In order to meet the needs of various construction operations, excavators can be equipped with a variety of working devices, such as mining, lifting, loading, leveling, clamping, pushing the earth, hammer and other operating tools. The rotary and walking device is the body of a hydraulic excavator, and the upper part of the turntable is provided with a power device and a transmission system. The engine is the power source of the excavator. Most of the diesel is used in the convenient site or the motor. The transmission mechanism transfers the power of the engine to the hydraulic motor, hydraulic cylinder and other actuating elements through the hydraulic pump, and drives the working device to move, so as to complete various operations. Daily inspection of excavator: visual inspection should be done before starting the locomotive.
Q:This ***** has ruined the whole state it is dying everyone is out of work. I have to live in IL and visit my home in Michigan just to have a job. Somebody tell me who voted again for her. I'm an excavator operator and I would love to bury her LOL
Everything, everywhere seems to be falling apart lately. The economy is terrible, and we all find ourselves wondering when this will all end. Sad, isn't it? Some people still remember when gasoline was only twenty cents a gallon.
Q:Lol what did the vanity digger play wild Lord?
What is vanity digger? The new excavator? Don't tell me it's an empty predator, master W, vice Q and E will do, vice Q will hurt high, and vice E will be mobile
Q:Which country makes the excavator the best?

Q:Hi there,I need wget to work through a text document full of sites, and export the site URL and the site's title into a different document. Also, it needs to run through a proxy. How would I do this, please?
here is about what might work. for i in $(cat input.txt) echo $i $( wget -qO- $i | grep title | sed 's/<[^>]*//g') >> output.txt also might make use of xargs. In my mind this is what the code is supposed to do: for each url in input, echo the url and the formated title, and append it to output.txt that is this portion: echo $i $(...) >> ouput.txt the formatting is done by using wget to write the html page to the console quietly ( the -qO- option), grep to filter for the phrase title, and the sed strips ( s for substitute, g for all or globally) the pattern of a tag ( a < followed by as many non-> chars)
Q:I was watching a documentary about pompeii and the eruption in 79 AD but i fell asleep before it ended. The last thing i remember seeing was what looked like rock covered people?how did this happen? im guessing it was due to the pyroclastic flow? but im not 100% sure.
the ash from the volcano like extremely hot dry cement went everywhere when landing on the living it stuck with more coming and burned through skin absorbing the moisture in the blood with capillary action until that body was `dry` the rest kept coming effectively curing the process - this is how i think it may have gone but still looking for the real fact
Q:I was recently digging a post hole and scraped my undergound electric cable. The post hole digger damaged the insulation and scraped one of the wires. It sparked a lot then started smoking. I still had power to all parts of my house. The wire was not cut in half. Only the casing was damaged. In fear of being charged by the power company to repare the damage, I simply filled in the hole. Can anyone tell me if I can expect the exposed wire underground to give me any problems?
