Description of excavator:
The two main sections of an excavator are the undercarriage and the house. The undercarriage includes the blade (if fitted), tracks, track frame, and final drives, which have a hydraulic motor and gearing providing the drive to the individual tracks, and the house includes the operator cab, counterweight, engine, fuel and hydraulic oil tanks. The house attaches to the undercarriage by way of a center pin. High pressure oil is supplied to the tracks' hydraulic motors through a hydraulic swivel at the axis of the pin, allowing the machine to slew 360° unhindered.
The main boom attaches to the house, and can be one of several different configurations:
Most are mono booms: these have no movement apart from straight up and down.
Some others have a knuckle boom which can also move left and right in line with the machine.
Another option is a hinge at the base of the boom allowing it to hydraulically pivot up to 180° independent to the house; however, this is generally available only to compact excavators.
There are also triple-articulated booms (TAB).
Attached to the end of the boom is the stick (or dipper arm). The stick provides the digging force needed to pull the bucket through the ground. The stick length is optional depending whether reach (longer stick) or break-out power (shorter stick) is required.

FAQ of excavator:
Q: What are the main functions of excavators?
A: Excavator is the machine that can excavate the the soil of various types forcefully and then using hydraulic system a hydraulic force is generated and utilizing this force bucket is exchange with some other attachments then excavator can be used for multi-purpose. For exemple pile diver, hydraulic jack hammer etc...
Q: What are the main type of excavators?
A: Crawler excavator; Wheel excavator;
Q: What is the application of excavators?
A: The excavator has increased the work speed tremendously. It is used extensively in numerous fields, including the following:
•Wood removal in forests
•Normal grading work and landscaping
•Cutting of brushes with attachments
•Demolition of structures, and removal of debris
- Q: i want visit australia but i don't have friend or family there, anyone please help me...
- Excavator operators from overseas are only allowed to work in Australia if they have been granted a Temporary Business Long Stay – Standard Business Sponsorship (subclass 457) visa. If you don't have a work visa, it will be virtually impossible to find work. If you did somehow manage to get a job, you are liable to be deported and your employer would get a very large fine, www.immi .au/skilled/skilled-w...
- Q: I am adding an apartment onto my house and I need to know what is a good fondation to sit it on and how close to the septic tank can I build it. One more question what comes first the foundation or the plumbing?
- i prefer block foundations they are warmer , and easy to repair some rough plumbing comes first usually the excavator will have a limited plumbing license for this, with these type of ?'s i would recommend a general contractor the plumbing is a very basic ?, it will get much more complicated as you go, as a carpenter I give priority to my general as he will always have more work for me, as for homeowners they are confused and disorganized and do not know who to call next, if you do it yourself get all your bids then ask a general for a bid, odds are you left something out so pad your bid at least 15%. good lucxk
- Q: I need to move about 400 cubic feet of soil, but can't get a mini excavator into my backyard because of the stairs and narrow space on the first level of the backyard, i.e. the smallest Bobcat 316 won't do. I need something smaller. If they make walk-behind excavators, that would be ideal and I'd appreciate some links. If you know, please also include where I can rent them from in the SF Bay Area. Thanks!

- Q: The county building code for my area specifies that the drain for my sump pump must be 10' from the property line. In order to meet that specification, and because the yard tends to be flat or uphill, I need to basically drain directly where the pipe comes out of my house. My gutter is also in that immediate area.I have an idea of how I want to drain both the gutter and sump pump that will eliminate concerns of ground erosion and avoid the accumulation of water in that immediate area, but I am looking for opinions.I plan to get a water deflector that directs the water 45 degrees opposed to one specificed direction. Then I plan to dig out an area around this spot that is maybe a foot deep and maybe a couple feet wide, put in erosion fabric, and backfill with rock. Is this my best option.I have no where to run a corrigated pipe and no down hill access
- You are installing what is basically called a dry well. Make it a couple of feet deep and it should be fine.
- Q: I scrapped the goodies out of a house while an excavator was demolishing it. Dusty work.

- Q: How to play on a heroic union excavator?
- Single, secondary positioning thunder Alexis, don't play the first choice of the wild. The line of soldiers made up the defect of the thunder Alexis view, while ignoring collision and vibration drilling to make it more easy to detect and prevent the line of soldiers playing field. The wind is straight ahead, really can not, can also rely on E Enron escape. What can I do? The short duration of cooling ground, Q harassment, makes it a consuming force. Of course, after all, is the main playing field, the disadvantages are also very significant, first of all, good recovery ability make it is early to attribute crispy or wind effort, although the consumption capacity, but the soldier can be blocked, but also as a AP bonus skill damage is not too optimistic, at most, Bubu knife. (PS:AP addition has been raised recently. Is there any possibility of AP?
- Q: I have a few questions about breeding Leos. And please don't answer anything like quot;Lol you shouldn't be breeding themquot; or stuff like that. I will down vote any of that stuff, and please no guesses either. I want answers from people with actual experience. So my first question is, how many eggs in a season do they lay?

- Q: i put in a fake rock background and side walls too by the way its really nice so anyways the substrate is excavator its really neat. it is a sand substrate but when you mix it with water it hardens to a concrete like sand really low risk of impaction and just in case she does get impacted i give her warm baths with a massage 1 day a week and no signs of impaction so every time i take her out to hold her she poops when i give her baths not even when she hits the water yet she pooped but never in her enclosure please help but every day i do make sure she poops but i would really like her to poop without me having to take her out to poop before this setup she was on repti carpet and pooped without any problems please help and give ideas thanks
- Maybe the best thing to do is test some new foods and substrates out. Every week you just change the substrate type and food type here are some good simple substrates you should try newspaper, artificial grass and reptile carpet. And with the food try feeding her a differant type of food every week, basically it's just about trying to find the right combination for your reptile.
- Q: My company ask me to do a cost study on buying heavy machineries (e.g. Shovel, Excavator, 16 tonne Tipper). Can anybody give me an advice on whether to buy or to rent the machineries for long term use. Which one is more cost effective in term of usage and maintenance.
- Renting might be a little more expensive up front, but maintenance on heavy machinery can be very expensive. If your company purchases one and a hydraulic hose breaks it is costly not only to fix but the amount of time it takes. If you just rent the machine and something breaks the rental company will replace either the entire machine or the hose, which costs you company no money to fix just the time. So in the long run it might be better to rent because then you do not have to worry about maintenance and fixing it when it breaks down. Parts for heavy machinery are definitely not cheap at all. I would recommend renting the machine.
- Q: whats the name of the big machine that they use to dig up concrete called?
