FAQ

Q: What's the difference with cyclonic to multi-cyclonic filtration system?

Multi-cyclonic is where the dust container has a plastic filter section inside and has many little tunnels in it that separate the finer dust and dirt for the next filter and there is no HEPA filter in the middle plastic filter section.

Cyclonic filtration is where there is a central HEPA filter that sits inside the dust container and catches the finer dust.

Q: My vacuum just stopped while I was using it! What do I do now?

All of our vacuum cleaners have been fitted with a thermal safety cut-off switch which activates to stop the motor from burning out. When it does that it will prevent the unit from turning on again until it has cooled sufficiently to reset, which is between 2 – 4 hrs. The most common reason for safety cut-off switch activated is the filters needs to be cleaned. Please read the instruction manual and follow the instructions on how to clean the filters.

Q: I had to try and use one as a stomach pump one night after some horrible seafood but it didn't work and it was unpleasant. Is there some sort of vacuum stomach pump attachment? I don't want to have this issue again. Help!
Vacuum cleaners have suction that is way too powerful to use on internal organs. Didn't you see the 1000 Ways to Die episode where the idiot used a shop vac to perform his own liposuction and disemboweled himself and bled to death? Same principle. Besides, pumping the stomach would not help with food poisoning, which comes from bacteria or toxins in the food. By the time you use a pump, the bacteria or toxin is in the bloodstream and your vacuuming action is futile.
Q: I wanted to get my mom a vacuum for Christmas, Problem is i don't have a lot of extra money around this time of year. Wanted any suggestions on a NICE, AFFORDABLE, ( somewhere around $100-$125), preferably bag less, with easy to clean filters and filters that are easy to buy in a local store ( Walmart, Kmart) Upright, with no canister. And Maybe one that doesn't require much assembly. THANKS :)
The Bissel pet models have plenty of power, and a great non electric brush attachment for sofas etc. They are easy to clean and the filters are readily available.
Q: Should I spend a lot and expect it to last for years, or should I spend a little and expect to replace it next year. What brand and model should I buy. Please help!
Buy a Dyson or a Miele, you can't go wrong. You'll be buying quality for maybe twice the price of one that wouldn't do as good a job and that you'll replace in a year. They will last you 10 years no problem and do a better job than the lesser vacuum cleaner too. So you'll save money in the long run too. It's a win win situation.
Q: vacuum cleanerspetrolbakeriesmmmmm
i hate petrol smells gimme a wicked headache a new anything smell makes me sick too i like candy scents, dead ants [every time i kill one i smell my finger], the rain [the grass after it rains really], coffee, bakeries/freshly baked bread and pie, and i guess that's it
Q: A little old lady answered a knock on the door one day, only to be confronted by a well-dressed young man carrying a vacuum cleaner.quot;Good morning, said the young man. quot;If I could take a couple minutes of your time, I would like to demonstrate the very latest in high-powered vacuum cleaners.quot;quot;Go away!said the old lady. quot;I haven't got any moneyand she proceeded to close the door.
My okorder Good luck
Q: What makes vacuum cleaners work?
Uh... Um... Electricity? I don't know what exactly you're trying to find out. Is it how they create suction exactly? Cause that I know. U see, the propeller isn't like a normal airplane propeller. It's a bit different. It's actually a disc, which has some blades on it, mounted radially, but slightly bent to the exterior of the disc. When it turns, it blows air away on the outside of the disc, and creates a low pressure point in the inside, which creates the suction (air flows from higher pressured areas to the lower pressured ones - think about winds the weather) The propeller is actually part of an entire system, which is connected to the motor and is designed to create as much suction as possible by its shape.
Q: I need to buy a new vacuum because the dirt devil I have doesnt work. I would like some feedback before I buy a new one. I'm looking to spend around $100 dollars. Any preferred models or brands?
Buy an Oreck
Q: How to repair the vacuum cleaner fan?
Check that the motor shaft needs lubrication
Q: my dog is 1 year old and she is afraid of the vacuum. why is this and how do I stop it? I feel so bad for her when she is whining and barking...
Vacumm produce low annoying frequence that vaccum produce, only dogs could hear thats why it drives the dogs nuts.
Q: My 6 month old Sammys in love with our vacuum, any time I try to vacuum the house he crawls around trying to grab at it, and if its just sitting there, he's practically tackle it and try to climb on it! All my siblings were scared horrible of vacuums, so i find this hilarious! Who else babies love vacuum cleaners??? And is there anything I can do to differ this attraction? Lol, its adorable, but makes cleaning harder!
My oldest has always loved the vacuum too! He used to sit on it while I vacuumed, lol. So cute. Now, my three and four year old run and hide pretending to be scared, but laughing the whole time. My four month old sits and drools while staring at the wild commotion. I sometimes think he wonders what the heck he's gotten himself into joining our crazy family.
