- Q:So, I m moving to an apartment that has totally outdated carpet. I want to change it, but obviously I can t being that it is an apartment I m renting. Are there any other options, other than buying a giant rug? Also, what are carpet tiles? I ve heard that they re cheaper than actual carpet, but do they require installation? Are they permanent? - Carpet tiles are much better than people think, you see them in lots of public places. You just lay them down and join them up. You can get carpet glue to spray on the back of each one. They don't even need to be the same colour, you can create a pattern ect. Also, if you were to spill a drink, and it stained the carpet, you can replace the tile/s that are ruined.

- If by sale you mean sell, I would try the black market or word of mouth and street corners which is what it comes down to for the most part. You might be able to sell it to a museum or something of that nature. I think it might be illegal to sell endangered species relics on OKorder, but I suppose if you already own it it might not be illegal. Something to look into before you put your freedom at risk.

- You can try a home carpet machine but, I have had good luck with using oxyclean like you use for laundry. Just mix some with water and dip a rag in it and start scrubbing the stain with it. Then when you have lightened the stain a bit, maybe the home rug machine. Or a professional carpet cleaner, you have spent a pretty penny on wool and a professional may be the way to go. The oxyclean does well though, I got bright red vomit out of a beige carpet (shag) with it. But, my carpet is not wool. The only thing is, that spot gets dirty easier because, I didn't scotch guard the spot after.
