Are there any cheaper things to use that are also safe for leather furniture?: Use saddle soap from a horse tack shop or a farm store that stocks horse supplies. It is especially made for leather saddles and if it can clean a stinky saddle that has been on a horse, it will clean leather furniture. Just read the can and follow the instructions. It will cost you pennies compared to stuff that furniture stores will try to sell you.

Q: How far from a sofa should you place a coffee table?: A lot depends on your living room layout, the people using it and how it's used. If you have a large living room with lots of seating, you'll probably want to position the coffee table closer to the center of the area so everyone in the room has easy acess. Same goes for if your using it mainly as a place door some decorations/magazines to sit on, especially if you have end tables right next to the couch to put drinks/the remote/other things you need easy access too. If you have a smaller space, want to put your feet up or actually need the coffee table for keeping frequently used things within reach, then you should put it close to the couch. About 8-24 is usually a good distance to keep everything nearby but it should be far enough away people aren't bumping their legs on it or it's creating too tight of a squeeze when they're trying to sit down.

Q: I got a free sofa from a local fish and poultry shop the sofa smells just like the mom-and-pop shop I got it from. which is great but I don't sell chicken or fish. How can I get it out? Q: Right my husband and i watched the rugby world cup only to lose but i fell asleep....i went to bed intent on my husband joining me for a bit of fun ...but instead he came up 1 hr and 30 mins later by which time i was asleep and woke me up hoping for some sex. now i thought why not but i was so cross with being let down i couldnt be bothered now im up and bored watching tv do i sleep on the sofa or go back to bed.I am thoroughly peed off and hes at work at 6m so no chance to make it up for a whole day ideas ?? Q: davenport? Where did the term davenport originate?: Heh heh or a local term like daveno? Also in Ohio, some people call a sofa suite a sofa suit. Both used to drive me nuts,. Don't know where the term davenport came from--maybe they were first manufactured in Davenport , Iowa? (just guessing) I call it either couch or sofa. And then theres a chaise lounge and a fainting bench or couch.
