I have tried using non-Virgin Mobile phones on Virgin Mobile, and they always tell me that they simply cannot activate an ESN that their system does not recognize as a Virgin Mobile phone. There are ways to change your ESN to that of a Virgin Mobile phone, but they are illegal. Don't do it. Just buy a Virgin Mobile phone, they're not very expensive. Maybe you can post on craigslist that you need a Virgin Mobile phone and someone will trade you phones. Sorry for the bad news!

Your phone should work with any sim-card, including your sim-card from T-Mobile. But for that, you have to purchase a phone without any telco contract and you have to buy from indepedent phone sellers at their shops and its easy to find in Malaysia and less so in Taiwan. As for whether it will work in Czech Republic, you should consult T-mobile and not the handphone seller, cause its more towards the service provider on its roaming network connectivity, rather than the connectivity of the mobile phone.
