I'm not sure about red kool-aid but I use rubbing alcohol for all sorts of other stains and have had great luck with it. I just pour some into a spray bottle and spray a small area of the stain/spot. (should be fairly wet but not soaked). Then rub the area with a clean dry cloth it should take up the stain/spot right away. Rubbing alcohol is fast drying which can be a great help as well.
