- Q: what means by special cement ? Example ? website ?

- Q: So, long story short, i broke a nice glass bowl and tried to find super glue, all i found was quot;vinyl cementquot; so i looked it up and it said the fumes are flammable. so is it ok so smoke out of it after it completely dries?
- Define 'smoke out of.' I'm not sure what the auto-ignition temperature of the vinyl cement you're using is, there's probably an MSDS sheet on it available from the manufacturer. Depending on how much you're using, I'd be more worried about breaking down the cement with heat and inhaling any off-gassing/fumes. But its probably fine. EDIT: Also, vinyl cement probably won't work. The vinyl cements I'm familiar with use a chemical reaction with the vinyl to create heat and fuse/melt the two pieces of vinyl together. Since glass isn't vinyl, it probably won't hold (for very long, at least).

- Thomas hit the second part of the question, but not the first part. For a VERY simple comparison: Portland Cement (PC) is a complex mixture of anhydrous calcium, silica, lime, etc. that hydrates (not dries) with water to form CSH (calcium-silicate-hydrates), the basic crystalline structure of cement/concrete. Pozzolans are not PC, but are simply forms of amorphous silica which can react with the byproducts of the hydration of PC to form more CSH. Typical pozzolans are fly ash, ground-granulated-blast-furnace slag (GGBFS), silica fume, etc. They do not begin reaction (or contribution to the hydrated cement crystalline structure) until later in the process... from about 7 to 14 days of hydration. Therefore, while a concrete mixture heavy in proportion of pozzolans will usually have a finer crystalline structure and higher 28 or 56 day strength, it usually lags in early strength gain up to 7 days and will exhibit a lower heat of hydration due to lower PC content.
- Q: i am having a fence installed, i have quotes from 2 different contractors... one pounds the posts into the ground, the other cements each post into the ground, how deep either go i am not sure... but which way would be more secure long term? the posts are the same as used for a chain link fence (steel posts)... thanks
- Cementing the posts in the ground will hold longer. My Dad put up fencing all his life and this was his preferred method. He was always pointing out fences that he put up 20 or more years before.

- let your dog know that pooping on the cement is a bad/ unwanted behavior tell them no! when they do it ( strictly but not to harsh), when it is potty time encourage them to go where you want them to by putting them over there( at potty time) and if or when they try to go somewhere else put them back where you want them to go ( you may have to do this many times before they get the message) and if they go reward them by talking in a happy voice and say good girl/ boy 'dogs name'! and keep doing that until they start do do it on their own. my dad taught our dog coco to go in the garden this way.

- Concrete is a mixture of cement, sand, water, and rocks. Cement is a fine powdery limestone dust. Cement needs the aggregate materials to hold together.

- Different mix. Concrete has more gravel in it as rock is harder than concrete and cement is more a mixture with sand. Quite interchangeable language on the jobsite like Tomato or tomayto. They generally know what you want so they bring it. I don't doubt that the lime content changes but I will leave that secret up to them.
