- Q: I have a t-mobile phone and a plan. But i'm only a year into my contract. I don't want to change the plan but i want to change the phone. I was wondering if i can buy the phone i want from t-mobile which is a SIDEKICK LX- carbon. and just insert my SIM CARD into it and use it. Will it work if i just put my SIM card into it? and will i be able to access the network AIM. i don't need anything else. i just want to be able to receive and send calls and log into AIM, keep the same phone number and listen to my music thats it. can someone help me out plz. - I also have t-mobile and they have good customer service well if you buy one for t-mobile i think you can buy the full price which about $200 or they could extend your contract and give it to you with a discount. I would rather just buy the phone. Not having a contract makes you monthly bills a little lower for like 20 less. It does have AIM so don't worry and yes you can just insert the Sim card to you new phone with the same number.

- Q: i wanted to know how refurbished T-Mobile phones are. How they're wear and tear comes and if they have any problems with signals or buttons or anything like that. - Ugh! I HIGHLY do not recommend a refurbished phone. Especially from Samsung. I had a Samsung T-Mobile phone, and it lasted me a little over a year. My insurance sent me a refurbished one, and that one didn't even last me two months. Never again will I ever get anything refurbished. It was such a pain!

- Q: I bought an LG OptimusV right before Christmas and for about a month now though, it has been freezing up. It is to the point now where at least twice daily it will completely lock until I take out the battery and replace it. If you are pursuing the warranty replacement route, then you are stuck with another Optimus V, and they do not offer discounts on replacement phones. I would agree that the Optimus V is not a good phone, but when you look at how cheap that Virgim Mobile is, you can see how they cannot offer higher quality phones (basically it will be costly enough that it will cost them customers, as they typically want things on the cheap.). At least the phones that Virgin Mobile offers are better quality than those that Straight Talk offers (around 1 in 5 Straight Talk phones are defective).

If your phone is fully powered off, you will not (unless you tweak the settings around to allow the application to turn on your phone). You can customize a lot on the Windows Mobile phones just depends on how much time you have to learn the steps and procedures to make it work the way you want it to.
