Q:Thanks to anyone who helps ^^
flower-ohana butterfly-chocho blossom-sakura get back with the rest
Q:I saw a picture of a oragami crane ring that was made out of money on a website but it diddint have any instructions on how to make it. I can already make the regular ring, but i would really like to try to make the crane ring does anyone know of any website that has instructions on how to make it??
I web-searched and found a picture which cited a Yahoo group as a source of further information. The group does *not* have an open archive. If you're interested in other money-fold projects, you may wish to consider joining that group. I'm listing a link for the group below.
Q:Since a crane has to extend outriggers while performing lifting operation , is it ok to allow a crane to transfer materials by carrying without extending outriggers and lifting and carrying load to different location especially in construction industry for safety reasons?
some things like bulldozers can , but a crain may fall if moved caring weight
Q:The arm of a crane at a construction site is 12.1 m long, and it makes an angle of 30° with the horizontal. Assume that the maximum load the crane can handle is limited by the amount of torque the load produces at the base of the arm. (a) What is the magnitude of the maximum torque the crane can withstand if the maximum load the crane can handle is 500 N?(b) What is the maximum load for this crane at an angle of 35° with the horizontal?
(a) What is the magnitude of the maximum torque the crane can withstand if the maximum load the crane can handle is 500 N? τ = FL τ = 500(12.1cos30) τ = 5239.45 τ = 5240 Ν?m (b) What is the maximum load for this crane at an angle of 35° with the horizontal? τ = FL F = τ / L F = 5239.45 / 12.1cos35 F = 528.6109... F = 529 N I hope this helped. Please remember to vote a Best Answer from among your results. It's good karma as it keeps things in balanced exchange.
Q:Question says it all. On the Yahoo homepage, there is a breaking story that you can not click on, stating the NY fire department are responding to a building collapse, but when you try searching it, only a story about a crane comes up in Yahoo search engine. Anyone know if it's 2 different stories or the same thing?
Building did collapse.
Q:the title. the battery --- 9.6v 2000Mah INT NIMH Crane Stock Battery. will this fit in an echo 1 crane stock? the desc. said its designed for GG and SRC crane stocks, but may fit in other crane stocks.
yeah, all crane stock battery's are pretty much interchangeable.
Q:Before the Advent of the Railroad Steam Recovery Crane Car (pictures below), how were Locomotive Steam Engines recovered after a derailment from the 1830's to the 1890's?
Old Man Dirt is right. Block and tackle. Remember too those early engines weren't that heavy. The most common type from 1850 to the 1890s was the 4-4-0. They, and the other types were usually between 25 and 60 tons. I don't necessarily collect old rail photos, but I've seen many hundreds in other people's collections. And early locomotive salvage was usually block and tackle, with another engine brought in to furnish the muscle required. Since this could be a lengthy process if the wreck was extensive, a temporary track, or sometimes called a shoo-fly would be built to move trains past the derailment, or to enable getting another engine and hoisting equipment positioned.
Q:who invented them and why do people make them?
in Japanese folklore if you fold a 1000 origami cranes you get are granted a wish, usually concerning health/long life. The peace part comes from the story of Sadako Sasaki a victim of the Hiroshima atomic
Q:Do they have to be taken apart... if so, how are they taken apart... by another crane? - but how did that one get there etc etc
Big cranes do have to be disassembled into truck sized pieces for transport, and then reassembled on site. Usually, this is done by smaller cranes, which are mobile. Sometimes a big crane can be assembled on the ground with small cranes, and then lift itself into the air. Sometimes smaller cranes are assembled by bigger cranes on the site. Some of the biggest cranes are tower cranes, which sit on tob of a skinny tower and rotate around. These are assembled on the ground and then lift themselves into the air by building the tower under themselves. Look at the attached link to see how this is done.
Q:Captain Kirk, TJ Hooker or Denny Crane?
Danny Crane.. his style and acting really fits that charactor..
