- OK listen everyone has their own answer for this question. No its not important or yes its important; all for their own reasons. No its not necessary but, a good safety feature! I gave one to my daughter this year she is only in the 1st grade crazy? Maybe, but, I like the idea when she is not with me say at a friends house, in school, any situation. And say she feels the ned to call me ON AN IMPORTANT basis like she is scared or whatever she can call me or even text me. - BSNL India started offering people finding service recently. There is a registration form. You can add the mobile numbers of friends, relatives etc to be traced to know the location where they are. This service is informed to each number added to and require consent by replying to agreement sms bsnl sends for only one time. In your case whether such a service is offered in your region I dont know. If you had registered for such a service and added the number to be traced in the list, you could easily knew the location. I think the girl would be somewhere nearby most probably in her friend's or relative's house. If you trace her intimate friends you may locate her.

- You phone will probably only work with T-Mobile. You can unlock the SIM module and get service with ATT, but you won't get high-speed data. You can't use it with any other cell company in the US because they all use a different technology (CDMA) which is not compatible with T-Mobile hardware. You'll either have to stay with T-Moble, get GSM service from Straight Talk, or get another phone.

- As they have already answered- you have to have a mobile phone for Bluetooth to work. But what someone said about it being illegal to use Bluetooth while driving. That is not true. In the US, the laws that are coming out are based to stop drivers from using their mobiles to talk while driving, and not having both hands free to drive. Bluetooth assists in keeping drivers safe and both hands free and on the steering wheel. People driving while using their mobiles to talk and or text while driving is getting out of hand and people are getting seriously injured or killed because people choose to be ignorant and NOT use a hands free device such as a Bluetooth headset. I never leave home without it ;)

- No. Sorry , but there are Virgin Mobiles all around the world. They all use different phone technologies. France, UK, South Africa and Australia Virgin Mobiles all use sim card phones called gsm. Gsm networks can use any sim card in any phone if it is unlocked first. India, USA and Canada use a non sim card phone technology called cdma. Each network can only use its own phones. VM Canada is owned by Bell. VM USA is owned by Sprint (as of yesterday's buyout announcement). Neither company will let phones from one side go to the other. So no VM Canada phones can run on VM USA either. If you want true phone choice and freedom , stick with gsm phones which come with sim cards. Anther bonus over cdma is that they can be used in any country in the world, cdma cannot.
