Q: Can I use an existing outlet in basement that's uses 14/3 wire and tap off of it to wire up a bathroom with 14/3 for light . Fann And one gfci outlet ?
14/3 wire is supposed to be protected by a 15 amp breaker. Think about what you might plug into the existing outlet, What you might plug into the new outlet, what lights are already on the basement circuit, and what lights you'll have in the bathroom. You've got to total the loads you expect might be on at the same time. If you decide a total of 15 amps is enough, to avoid confusion you should use 15 amp rather than 20 amp outlets. On the other hand you might like to consider that when short circuits happen, they usually happen appliances plugged into outlets. If a breaker that's likely to open opens, it might be good if the basement lights stayed on so you can find the breaker box and reset the breaker and/or find your way out of the basement. If it were me and there was room for another breaker in the breaker box, I'd put in a separate 20 amp (12/3 wire) circuit for the basement outlets. I'd limit the use of the existing 14/3 wire circuit to the basement lights and the new bathroom's lights. (If necessary, you _may_ be able to remove a single old-style breaker from your breaker box and replace it with two new breakers) Whatever you do make sure it's consistent with your local electrical code requirements. Many jurisdictions will allow you the homeowner to do your own wiring and they'll inspect it for you.
Q: Can you actually save a decent amount of money by unplugging things like cable boxes, microwaves, etc.?I've taken to shutting things down when I leave for work, but there's really no way I'll be able to determine how much I'll save. If it's not significant enough I'd rather not bother - waiting for the cable to reboot is a pain!We have two cable boxes with associated TVs and DVDs that get shut down along with our clean air machines. Is it worth it?
very much so! For every Little bit of inconvenience to disconnect every electrical component you can think of, will benefit you greatly. i had a surveyer come out to determine why my light bill was so much and he disclosed just that, too many things plugged in that I don't immediately need. In fact, I have a clean air machine as well and he said they pull more electricity than many other components, nor does a ceiling fan. But one last bit of info. is anything that has a light on it when not in use is drawing electric currents.
Q: I want to know if it would be feasible to make exercise equipment (like a bike, treatmill, stair stepper, etc.) that would produce a small amount of electricity when used. Could this type of equipment be modified to produce enough electrical energy to make a noticeable difference in a monthly power bill? If it was feasible, think about the benefits! Not only would we have a new (albeit small) source of energy, but we might be motivated to get off our butts and exercise more. Okay, its a wacky thought, but I just wondered. What do you think?
y dont you do it? ride a bike to power your tv or your computer you can turn a 110 jenny with about 1/4 horspower in other wards your legs
Q: .and what does it entail?
$40,000-$60,000 out of college $70,000-$100,000 depending on location and experience or lots of meats and vegitables
Q: For the past week, IT has been making the worst of coffee. This morning, I told IT that: If you don't make a good Espresso today, after 5 years, I will replace you!I don't know what happened, but IT, made a wonderful Espresso, even if the little foam on top !! Good morning !!
All my electrical equipment and I have an arrangement. As long as it does its job and does it well, it doesn't get threatened with violence or being chucked in the bin. We all get along fine, lol
Q: I just moved to a house in Vancouver, WA, and am wondering what companies can ship/move a large storage container (like PODs) from Houston, TX to here in WA. I will be doing it within the next month or two, and need a general estimate on how much it is going to be (I can figure that out, just need some websites or company names)
PODs, U-Haul has something similar but smaller and ABF freight has a small POD to a you fill the entire trailer.
Q: Hi. I have bought a kiln from Germany which is compatible with our electrical currents here in the UK - that much I know. It is a small kiln and can be used with just ordinary household electric. However, the electric lead is much thicker than the ordinary leads on my other electrical equipment. Is this just for added safety or what? I want to cut off the German plug and put on an English plug so I need to be sure this is ok. Help from a qualified electrician would be preferable if possible please. Thanks so much.
The heavier wire is to prevent overheating. Cut off plug and wire as normal. Live to the right, Neutral to the left and Earth to the front pin. Luck.
Q: I would like to know about background historical trends in heavy electrical equipment industry in India and future prospects of sourcing heavy electrical equipments in India. If you have any report or thesis on similar topic, please share with me.It would be of immense help to me.
Suggest that you contact the Indian embassy, trade department, they will probably give you a list of suppliers.

Our company owns several automatic production lines and enough experience in the production and research of linear actuators and controllers. Our products are popularized in many occasions when need to be implemented with rectilinear motion such as electrical nursing beds, operational beds, traction beds, massage chairs, dental chairs, electrical sofas and show-cases. These products can adjust heights, move between front and behind, as well as angle change, which take the place of gas springs as well as AC decelerators.
