Looking at it, it seems the entire wall of tile is ready to come down. I need to fix this economically and I‘m assuming I need to do the entire wall. Any ideas how I should go about this? tiling a tub /shower surround can be difficult, would recommend hiring a tile guy, just watch them and you will learn alot If you walls are not level and square it can be a hard job to do even with experience If you are still going to try it yourself you have to keep in mind the expense, time and purchase or rental of a wet tile saw (plus snips and a grinder with a diamond cut wheel) Use a good adhesive (mastif) and a 3/8 trowel, keep the tile up at least 1/4' from the edge of your tub Don't forget the schulter strip for the edges You can also mix the grout half and half (sanded and non- sanded), just a little helpful hint Going to Home Depot to get a book is not a bad idea, better yet find out when they are going to do a tiling show, you can learn enough to get by if you ask alot of questions Good luck!

Please get rid of the liquid soap. Most likely leaving a residue on the flooring that will actually attract dirt.. Some tiles are not meant to shine because of there construction. They need a matte finish to provide their slip resistance. Strip the flooring using a OTC detergent cleaner. And then see how they look. Could be just a build up from you and other tenants.. i am more familiar with tiles falling off the wall. but yours are glued on so good they wont fall. The wall must be warping from water or steam and heat and the tiles wont bend with it so they crack.

There are two ways to handle the situation, the right way or the cheapest way. What is actually required is for you to remove the tiles and dispose of them in a legal way. If you do choose to cover up the tiles with new tile, you will probably not have a problem, but if the home inspector finds you have the tiles underneath, you will have to disclose this to the buyer who may want money back from the sale to remove the tiles which they will never do since they are already covered. If you are going to remove the tiles, get a reputable asbestos abatement contractor who is going to do the job right and not put your health in jeopardy. This will cost you but then you will not have anything to worry about once it is gone.

They sit between plain white tiles with the corners shaped to accept the smaller blue squares.I`ve looked in Lowes, Home Depot, Amazon and online but so far no luck :( !

You will have to contact a company and request a catalog of their tiles that they manufacture. After a run of tiles are made the next run will not be the exact same to match. It's very possible that no manufacturing tile company is still making the tile. With the wear and glaze that the tile has it would be impossible to get a match. I suggest that you shop for tiles that will enhance and blend with what you have and you may even use hard wood and tile aquamarine color that will pull the color hue from your present tile. Weeks? An hour should be enough to remove a good portion of them as long as you don't want to save them. Take a hammer and smash the tiles. It does work.
