Q:Looking for full size Hexagon quarry tile in 6 inch, 8 inch or 10 inch overage size. Not the little pieces that are grouped together.: Try a tile shop. They should have what you are looking for if they don't, they can either tell you who does or special order it for you.

Q:The tile is attached to sheetrock and I don‘t want to damage the sheetrock by ripping off the old tile.: I definitely wouldnt recommend tiling over tile. Thats asking for trouble. It would be much better in the long run to just pull up the tile and sheetrock. Maybe you can jigsaw the part of the sheetrock where the tiles are at that way you can salvage what sheetrock you can. Then re-sheetrock where the tiles were at and tile away. To tile over tile is just bad work and you would probably have to do it anyway. Might as well do it right the first time and get it overwith. =)

You no something like the dos as well as the don‘ts: The first thing you need to do is ensure that the subfloor is proper for tile installation. If you have particle board you need some major work done before you can safely tile. A single layer of OSB or plywood should be at least 3/4 thick with 16 O.C. joists and then you'll want to use Ditra or a similar crack isolation membrane over that. If it is thicker than 3/4 you may not have to use the Ditra but you'll still need a cement board underlayment, though you might as well use Ditra anyway. Install your tile on top of the ditra/concrete board. I'd use a Schluter edge profile to cap the tile with a metal trim before butting your carpet back up against it. And yes, you need to put tack strip around the tile and preferably power stretch the carpet back onto it. Kneed kicking will just have it loosening up again in short order.

Thank you. Also forgive my poor english.: first of all, you need to build different densities of 2D tile arrays according to how much of the map will be in the viewport at any given time. For example, a map at neighborhood level will need a gazillion more tiles than a map at the county level. Then, you need a way of converting the geographic reference at the center of the viewport to the tile that is covered at that zoom level, and for finding the adjacent tiles as well. Then, you'll need to calculate what parts of which tiles you are using will need to be clipped and by how much. Build a canvas using this information. As the map moves, you'll need to add on more adjacent tiles, and discard others, update the clipping, etc.

Remember that the tile doesn't include the installation cost either. You can use it in the entryway just remember that granite is very slippery when used as flooring and caution must be taken. To get the best look out of granite tile for the countertop ensure that they are laid with very little grout space. Ensure you hire a good experienced tile setter one that has laid granite tile. You want them to ensure that the edges all have the finished edge. This will give you the best look, it's really not a big deal for an experienced installer. Don't use a wood edge and go for the tile, it will last longer and increase the value of your home more than formica. You can often find bullnose edge pieces to lay with your tile unless you are buying a rare granite.

Q:and didn‘t seal the floor or grout. Now they are dirty, how can I clean them so they look new, then seal it? I have grout sealer, do I need to seal the tiles also, they look to be sort of porous?: I made that mistake in my kitchen. Rent a steam cleaner to clean the grout...it works really well. The tiles don't need sealer, just the grout does.
