- Q:so i have this furry rug and by furry i mean like it looks like it something that would be attached to your hoodie, and it's black... so i was wondering on how to vacuum and or clean the feathers off it because it's way to big to take outside and shake it all off
- I also have a very furry rug, but mine is white. You could vacuum it and use that special tube thingy on the vacuum to get certain spots it works great, that's what I use. BUT mine is very small so you might also be able to just vacuum straight over it lol

- You need 320 s/f butttttttt..... Carpet comes mainly in 12 and 15 foot wide so depending on how you room is laid out with its walking patterns etc is how its laid and seamed. Generaly a seam will be on the furthest wall away from all traffic. Again if your carpet comes 15 foot ( some do some only comes 12 foot wide) you ll you ll need extra carpet for a seam . You ll be scraping out some so you ll have to get more than 320 s/f GL
- Q:does anyone know of any antibacterial carpet powder?
- The only thing I've heard of is Borax. I sprinkle Borax on my carpet, let it set overnight, and vacuum it up in the morning. This gets rid of any odors and kills a lot of germs. I'm not sure if it's antibacterial or not but it works great for me and my carpets look like I had them installed yesterday! :) I hope this helps!
- Q:We recently had a storm and I had water damage in my bedroom and the carpet was soaked. A company came out and extracted the water and steam cleaned the carpets but I can still smell that wet carpet smell. Any ideas on how to get rid of the stinch?
- I think the only way to get that smell out is to air it out for days or weeks, any time your at home open the window in that room if you can , air the carpet out and keep spraying it lighty with something that smells good while airing.
- Q:I'll need to get about 1200 sq. ft. of carpet. I'm not planning on getting the cheapest, but close to it. How much will the carpet cost? installation?
- Carpet, pad ( to cover warranties) and labor for a low, mid range priced carpet will go fo 3$ a s/f ( + - depending on quality) So your looking at 3600$ at least. - It will depend on what the stain is, rubbing alcohol will remove some stains, oxy clean, greased lightening, dawn dish washing soap, penetrate the stain and blot up with old towel until stain lightens this may take several applications, then use a soft bristle brush to scrub, blot up excess moisture and soap rinse well and blot... There are also stain and spot removers that can be purchased but I have found that most don't work as good as they say...all else fails rent a rug doctor!

- If the floor before the pavement moisture content is well controlled, enough dry, and then sun will not crack.
- Q:I have been searching online forever, I'd love some outside advice. I'm looking to lend some color to my otherwise boring rooms. The color scheme is dark wood, neutral tan walls, sage green(sofa).
