Q:How do you get candle wax out of carpet?
Getting candle wax on your carpet may seem like a nightmare and a hassle to remove, but it is incredibly easy. Follow these simple steps to a candle wax free carpet. Things You’ll Need: Dishtowel Rubbing Alcohol Plastic baggie filled with ice Step1 Place a dishtowel on top of the candle wax. Step2 Place the plastic baggie that is filled with ice on top of the dishtowel. Step3 Leave on for a few minutes until the ice freezes the candle wax. Step4 Pick off the frozen candle wax pieces off of the carpet. Step5 Lightly dampen the thin dishtowel with rubbing alcohol and go over the spot if there is any little left over pieces or residue remaining on the carpet.
Q:help with play doh on carpet?
Any fine stuff that will not come up by stomping on it, you use a little coarse sand paper on.
Q:Please recommend a rug for a infant/toddler?
If the reason is that you have hard wood floors, make sure to buy a rug undermat or gripper so no one slips falls. I would not go light in color as sippy cups even non spill do leak a bit, Try somewhere like Ikea or Target if it is only temp so you can get decent quality at a low price, also Sams Costco sometimes have plain area rugs for 30 to 40 dollars they are about 6x8
Q:Help Me! Carpet Problem?
WHAT?? Are you sure that was a hair dryer and not a freekin' HEAT GUN? I've never heard of a hair dryer that was hot enough to melt the typical polymers used in carpeting. In any case, you tried to fix a problem and for some strange reason it didn't work - if I were the owner, I might be upset, but if you really used just a conventional hair dryer, and it indeed melted the carpet, I think I would be more upset with the carpet company. After all, you were trying to do the right thing. Now, if you're lucky, the homeowner will have some spare carpeting that they've saved away for exactly this kind of accident. An experienced carpet layer can surgically replace that using any one of two or three techniques. They can even do this if the homeowner doesn't have some spare carpeting, although that will add some additional cost, and the match may not be quite as good (depends on the color and style, which if the house is new, will hopefully still be available).
Q:How often do you have your carpets cleaned?
I see that this is basically an advertisement for your carpet-cleaning company, which is fine with me. Lots of people don't keep their carpets very clean. Others rent those stupid carpet-steamers from the stores, then soak their carpets and their carpet pad gets musty and rotten. I have a Bissell steam cleaner, and I steam my carpet every 2 weeks. I once used a professional carpet cleaner, and they (incorrectly) scrubbed a stain very hard by hand and damaged my carpet. Another professional cleaner was unable to get cat-urine odor out of a carpet (I know, it's one of the hardest odors to remove). I bought some Unique Pet Odor and Stain Eliminator, which is the only product I have ever used that works on cat urine, and was able to remove the odor myself. I have 9 cats and a dog, which explains why I have to clean my carpet frequently.
Q:how do you get dried candle wax out of a carpet?
It is time consuming but it does work. The only way to get the dried wax up is to reheat it, so boil some water and pour it over the wax. Immediately start wipping it with a towel or something. It may take a couple of times, depending on how big the candle was. Use gloves because the carpet does hold the hot water pretty well.
Q:a good, orange, shag rug?
Orange shag was really in back in the 60s. Check some yard sales? or retro or vintage stores. If nothing turns up, hooking a rug does go pretty fast once you get started and you can make tiles and just keep adding to them as go go.
Q:How many kinds of carpet machine?
A large carpet loom, such as abroad: Wilton Rupp loom loom, Kata is probably in millionsSome small looms, home made hundreds of thousandsThere are several thousands of hand loomsThere is also a gun (woven carpet), in the bottom cloth, you can weave their own patterns, and that is not expensiveHowever, the yarn itself is selected
Q:Need to find the rug in this picture?
Happy hunting and I hope that you find what you are looking for to make your room perfect!
Q:Where can I find a simple Solid White Oval Rug?
White rug? Um, try a dollar store or thrift shop. They might have something. Although, I must agree, it's not all that exciting. Your gonna LIVE there. You might want to try looking for something in the new Target brand of furniture. Speaking of Target, I'm pretty sure they have white oval rugs there...
