Q: i hate the wired controllers. they all get tangled: Not all. theres some wireless controllers out on the stores i recommend using a logitech wireless controller

Q: How do I wire an outlet that has two black and to white wires. It this case the white being the HOT wires?? Don't know why all the white wires in my house are HOT.. And the black are nuetral???: Just use what is called a pigtail add take a short piece of white wire and wire nut it to the other two thenyou will have one wire to hook to the outlet.Do the same with the black. Be sure you turn the power off before attempting any wiring task. Black on the brass screw and White on the silver screw on the outlet.

Q: my questions is what wires go where. i just bought a Hunter thermostat model # 44155c. on my old thermostat the wires are as followes:W2-jumps to quot;F(Yellow Wire)F-Yellow WireO/B-Light Green WireR-Red WireG-Dark GreenC-Red Wire Y-Yellow WireMy new thermostat has these options:RH, RC, G, Y/O, W/B, Y1can anyone tell me what wires go where?thank you: you were suppost to mark the wires by which they were screw to by color code; w rd blk etc.and then wire to new unit with same color code, some terminals need a small branch wire to bypass, lets say an ac with a heat pump.Ok now this is what an ac man will do, he will go to the compressor and write where the wires there are wired and then he would look up the color code and put the wires where they go. Also i relie heavily on the 800 help line number.Some ac men will put different colors on the wrong terminals, put a sticker on the unit and when there is trouble, they will call him,if all the wires were black and he knowes where they go, you see. A trusted ac man would be a great help,and remember, you're checking at the wall, not at the unit where the signals are not being recieved correctly, the thermostat is the brain, and one more thing, you are on the right track, because a progamable thermostat can save you a lot of money especiall if you're gone a lot.

Q: I removed my old door chime/bell a few years ago and replaced it with a wireless one. That one quit working and now I am attempting to install a new wired one again. The only problem is, when I removed my old one way back, I failed to label the existing wires to where they go. I have two wires coming out of my wall mount, one white, one brown and the both have a white and red wire sticking out of them. I am not sure which one/ones will connect to the FRONT and TRANS posts on my new chime. I don't have a rear door bell button so that is not a problem. Which wire goes to the FRONT and TRANS and do I cap off any of the 4 wires? My installation instructions don't cover the mindless mistake of not having the wires labled.: one wire is coming from the door bell and on is going to a transformer, all you have to do is make it into a series circuit, connect the two red wires together from each cable take one white wire and hook to trans on the door bell and the other to the front. if you want to check this out you need a meter set it for AC under 100v check each set of wires for 12-24v red to white at each cable the one that dosent have power is going to the button at the door while button is pushed check this wire for continuity if this all checks about than wire as i described above
