- Q: I know, I know, straightening your hair can cause future damage, but that is the main reason I am asking this questionI was wondering, is there some kind of hair cream or straightener that will help make it so you won't get frizzy hair or split ends? Or should I just perm it, even though doing so the chemicals could damage it even more? My hair looks horrible if it is not straightened and the start of a new school year is coming up and I would love to have a good first impression on peoplePlease and thank you!
- I see why your perceptions may be as you stated themVisually they look strange, like some science fiction movie futuristic ray-gunThe rounds they fire are so much the same if not identicalthe differences, as far as I know, and I'm no expert, are the related to the mechanics incorporated in the more modern versionsThe newer generations greatly reduce recoil, are lighter, and the operating mechanics allow for more rapid fire while being less likely to jam.
- Q: im in desperate need of a cleanse right now I've done the master cleanse a couple times a year and i think i want to try something newhas anyone heard of the brown rice diet? all you can eat is veggies fruit and brown riceits supposed to be cleansing because of the high fiberdoes it sound like it would work?
- Brown rice contains a high amount of fiber which is excellent for cleansing the colonIn your intestine it acts like a pipecleaner, grabbing nasty toxins like pollutants, chemicals, pesticides, heavy metals on its way throughFor the cleanse to work you must use organic brown rice, cooked very thoroughly to make it easier to digestSoak the rice for for at least 25-30 minutes, overnight if you can, to really soften the bran layer on the rice grainThis is a very high fiber diet, with considerable flexibility on what you eat as long as you stick to the correct fruits, vegetables and brown riceStick to it for 7 days and you'll get some great resultsThere are no specific restrictions on portion sizes, but try to eat only until you feel 80% fullChewing the rice slowly will help as this slows down the eating process and allows your body to tell you that you are fullFresh fruits, except bananaHerbs and spices such as garlic, chili peppers, cilantro, ginger, parley, onionsA small amount of extra virgin olive oil or flaxseed oil can be used with the veggies and riceFreshly squeezed juices, hot lemon tea with ginger, fresh mint tea, uncaffeinated herbal teasFresh vegetables, except corn and mushroomsThey can be eaten raw, lightly steamed or oven bakedNo frozen or canned food is allowedHope I helped and good luck!!

- Q: I have carpeting, plaster walls, and base and ceiling decorative trimI want obsessive compulsive methods on cleaning and sanatizing.wadda i need to do ? move out my furniture and stuff then spritz the walls with a 50/50 bleach/water mix? and wipe off with a microfiber cloth? then douse the carpet with lysol? well?
- Oh, honey, you need to do more than spritzing!! First of all, get rid of the carpetingCarpeting is nothing but a breeding place for germsHave marble tile put down, then add a few new, natural fibre rugsStrip your bed and windows, repaint walls and ceiling, then put in new bed-in-a-bag and matching window coveringsGet rid of clutter!! Clutter attracts dust, and dust mites You want sanitary? Do all of the above, keep it scrupulously clean, change your bedding once a week (vacuum the mattress and box springs) and wash or dry clean bedspread, blanket and window coverings once every three months, and I guarantee you will have a nice, sanitary bedroomPS: DO NOT EAT in your bedroomFood crumbs attract insects and vermin.

- Q: I prefer to cleanse my body th natural wayS I need foods that are high in fibers.
- First of all a 3° differential between upstairs and downstairs isn't badThat is as long as you only have one a/c unitIf you have separate units for the two locations then it isn't so great 12° differential from outside to the attic isn't bad enough to worry a lot about ventilation in the atticAn R-value of 30 IF in fact it is that high is respectable and adding to it won't make a huge difference If you have one a/c unit try closing some vents downstairs and make sure all vents are open upstairsMake sure blinds are closed upstairsIf you have two a/c units it is possible the upstairs unit is undersized or needs service.
- Q: I'm looking for a certain type of blanketI went to walmart and target and did not see oneI'm not sure what the type of blanket would be called but it is cotton and has a woven pattern to itSo I can see through it a little bitThere are two deffierent edges on itOne is flat the other is like the end was folded over and sewed in placeI can't seem to find it anywhere but I had one as a kid and loved itAny suggestions as to what type of blanket it is called or where I could find it would be great!

- Use your heat spray before blow drying, then section off hair and mist each section with any regular hold hairspray as you go, just before running the straightener throughThe hairspray acts as a protectant and also gives your style great stabilityChi oil also helps if you wash dailyIt can make for a slightly oily second day 'do, however.
